Back and shoulder mobility and strength.
I was able to balance in forearm headstand. I still find the feel of the arm position really strange. I tried to lift vertically and not have so much weight pushing down on my head. I found my back muscles really having to work bringing my knees back to a tuck position. I have been practicing bridge with the support of the stability ball whilst pushing through my shoulders. I managed to push up into the bridge. Not pretty but I got up and worked on my shoulders without the aid of the stability ball.
Back and shoulder mobility and strength.

@Karyn Ainsworth it has always been my nemesis too. I just didn't think my back could do it! The shoulder mobility and strength has definitely helped

@Karyn Ainsworth I know its so easy to ignore the exercises you find hard. I have been really trying to focus on those exercises that I don't find easy because they will be easy one day 🤞
Wall push ups
@Marian Truly you have inspired me! I did my first wall push ups. Hoping that I can build up very gradually and build strength whilst getting more mobility in my shoulder and not trigger my injury!

Pancake ❓
I redid my attempt of straddle to shoulder stand This attempt was a bit better, i didn't turn it into some kind of a frog stand 🐸 But I can't do the pancake so that makes it even harder. I also seem to have extra long legs😂 My question is: what should we work on to achieve or get close to a pancake?

@Val Mercier with the pancake I wouldn't try to get your chest down too much. Don't worry about how low you go. Try hinging from the hips and concentrate on your belly first. Try active stretching. Go down, hold for 2 seconds then up and after 10 reps then hold for 10-20 seconds. Again, don't force it and think belly first, back flat, hinge at the hips and chest up. You won't go down as far but it will come with time
Bailing
Absolutely petrified of bailing in handstand. So I thought I would go outside where there is more room and have a go. I have been practising jumping my feet up the wall as that scared me too and chest to wall petrifies me as well. I have practised walking my hands in to handstand as the first time I tried I couldn't get one hand to come off the floor 😂. Honestly, my heart was in my mouth just trying this! Definitely going to watch the handstand training video now!

@Karyn Ainsworth Yes I find moving my hands tricky so I am trying lots of hands walking to the wall. Started bunny hops the other day too 😂. It took me ages to build up the courage to let go a move to the side! Need to have another go soon!
