Tip Tuesday: How I Post in Skoolers Without Getting Deleted

Tip Tuesday: Post More Posts on YouTube: Next Level Engagement Strategy
Are you using the Post tab on your YouTube channel? From my analytics, I’ve found that the Post tab can be a powerful tool for growth. Even though not everyone reacts or participates in polls and quizzes, people are seeing them—and that visibility matters. Over the past 90 days, my posts have generated consistent impressions, which I’ve shared below. One of the simplest (and most effective) ways to use Posts is with a True or False question. When viewers vote, the correct answer is revealed—and that’s the perfect time to drop a direct link to a related video. 👉 Join Next Level Creator Hub for more tips and guidance on YouTube growth strategy.

I literally didn't know there was a Post button in YouTube! 🤯
#MetricsMonday Sept 22
I was really hoping to be able to post today that we had made it into the 100s in Discovery because we've been soooooo close, but alas, it was not to be! However, we've made some major strides, and your content is being seen by more and more people every day. In addition, so many of you have added numerous members to your Skool groups, and the momentum is rising! I'm excited for you all. Once again, your referrals are greatly appreciated, don't stop. The tide is rising, and it is lifting all our boats! 🛶 Here are the metrics for the past 7 days: Members: 143 Rank in Discovery: #205 (+79) Active Members (last 30 days): 98% Highest Activity Day: 873 activities Lowest Activity Day: 225 activities Traffic (last 7 days): 205 About page visits (+64) Sign Ups (last 7 days): 35 (+7) Conversion Rate: 17.07% (-2.79%) The Context: 1. Obviously, I'm super pumped about the ranking in Discovery. This is due to the amount of engagement in the group, so please keep posting, commenting, and liking each others' posts. The better our visibility, the better it is for everyone. My goal is to get to the top 100 by the end of October! 2. Mona contacted Skool and asked about the Active Member metric (thanks @Mona Weathers ) and they told her is was the members' activity on the platform, not in the group, so I've decided to completely ignore this metric. I guess it would be useful if you were struggling to get engagement in your group because you would know whether or not you are talking to people who are even engaged on the platform, but if it's not a reflection of the engagement in this group, I'm not really worried about it. Curious to hear your thoughts, though... 3. Our highest activity day is the highest of all time, so that's amazing! 👏 4. We have had more About page visits and more signups than last week, but the conversion rate is lower. Again, I'm not too worried about the conversion rate because this is a public group, and the goal is to get eyes on the page, not necessarily conversions...

I see this question a lot, "How do I get my members to engage?"
I see this question a lot, "How do I get my members to engage?" I’ve been seeing this question a lot lately. You start a community, you bring in some members, and then… crickets. You’re left wondering: What am I doing wrong? Why aren’t my members engaging? Here’s the truth: most creators make this mistake when building community—They try to grow wide instead of going deep. 👉 Wide means chasing numbers—filling your group with anyone and everyone, hoping that more members = more success. The problem? Wide communities often look good on the outside but feel empty on the inside. Members lurk, engagement fades, and the creator ends up burnt out. 👉 Deep means attracting the right viewers on YouTube and guiding them into your community—people who actually want your help, your guidance, and your connection. When you build deep, your channel and your community fuel each other. Viewers don’t just watch your videos; they step into your world, engage, and stick around for the long haul. Here’s an example from my own community: One of my membership questions is “What’s one goal you’d love to hit in the next 90 days on YouTube?” I ask this so I can circle back later and see how I can offer individualized help. Some of my members have even received a DM from me like this: “Hey, I remember you said your goal was X—how’s it going? Can I share a tip that might help?” That’s the difference between wide and deep. Wide is surface-level—big numbers but little connection. Deep is knowing your people, creating true engagement, and building momentum that grows both your channel and your community. ✨ That’s exactly what the Community Advantage Course helps you build. ✅ Attract the right people into your community ✅ Create meaningful connections that go beyond surface-level likes and comments ✅ Build a space where people don’t just join—they stay, contribute, and grow Learn more about Community Advantage: Skool for YouTube here. I know we’re supposed to be polling our group on what they need but I’ve struggled on how to frame it in a way that gets people to reply. I love that you make it goal specific with a set deadline, smart!! 🙌

@Mona Weathers On it!
9 Lives Sobriety Youtube
Hope this is the right category and it's ok to post (remove if not). I wanted to share my youtube channel which I am using to get traffic for my skool group. I started back in January with a few videos and had about 19 subscribers and then I stopped posting. When the Hormozi offer came along and I created my free community, I started posting videos again. I've now got 179 subs (literally 150 in the last month) and 1 video has nearly 5k views - I am blown away! My skool group aims to help anyone with an alcohol problem to get sober and stay clean.
