Please Help Me Welcome Our New Moderator - Faith!
As we roll over to a new year and enter the comma club (in terms of members) it seems fitting that this is also a good time to introduce a new moderator! Please help me in welcoming @Faith Adebayo who will be joining @Mona Weathers as moderators for this group. Both have a wealth of experience leading groups, have been around the CLASSIFIEDS since the beginning, and I am so grateful that they have both agreed to help out with ensuring the CLASSIFIEDS is a positive, supportive place where you want to hang out. I think this is also a great time to clarify some of the guidelines that people get confused about: 1. Posts in the community are for free offers (paid Skool groups are fine). 2. Paid offers must be posted in the Classroom (you can link to the classroom from the community). You can do this by becoming a Premium member. 3. You can post once a day in any category, NOT once a day in each category. If you have more than one group, you still only get one post a day. This is to prevent the feed from getting clogged up. 4. You must promote yourself (and you must be the one doing the posting - not a VA, admin, etc). Affiliate links and shoutouts are reserved for the #FriendFriday thread. 5. Absolutely not promotional DMs or DMs inviting people to join your group - this is grounds for immediate removal from the group. The whole purpose of the group is to promote yourself, so please do it in the public feed. I'm so looking forward to seeing what everyone creates this year, how everyone collaborates, and most importantly getting to know you all more through our meet ups, which you can find on the calendar. Don't forget that you are able to earn affiliate commission by using your personalized invite link in the right panel. Let's do this, team!

Merry Christmas, have a lovely time! šŸ™šŸŽ„

I am feeling sad and vulnerable, I lost my beloved dog 'Archille' last week. He has been by my side for 7 years after I rescued him as a 1 yr old. We have hardly been apart., he's been my best friend, support system and I am struggling without him. šŸ’” I have 18 years of sobriety and I am so grateful I have put in the work to create a solid foundation that I have no desire to pick up a drink and drown my sorrows. šŸ™ My community '9 Lives Sobriety' is aimed at helping people quit alcohol and deal with life through all the ups and downs. If anyone feels they are struggling with alcohol or knows anyone please check out the group https://www.skool.com/9-lives-sobriety-5808/about?ref=29135cda259f45dcb32fc566c7cf25f6 For more general mental health issues and counselling my other group Skhelp can be found here https://www.skool.com/skhelp-5802/about?ref=29135cda259f45dcb32fc566c7cf25f6 Below is a picture of Archille. I know all other dog owners and lovers will identify with me - they are our family ā¤ļø

Are you waiting for the right time to join in???
Not to point fingers, but there are a number of you who are out there waiting for the "right time" to post something here. Maybe you're not sure what to say. Maybe you don't feel like your community is ready to promote yet. Or maybe you just got distracted by all the other amazing groups on Skool... šŸ˜‰ Whatever the reason, one of the biggest mistakes I see from community owners is not getting out there and making themselves known. Here are the two things I hope you are not doing in the Classifieds if you are trying to build your community: 1. Posting once or twice and then never again because you didn't get anyone to join your community. It takes time and consistency to get noticed and for people to remember you. You need to be posting daily. Do you know how many times I've wanted to refer someone to someone but I can't remember their name and then there's nothing in the community to remind me who they are? 2. Sitting back and not saying anything - just reading or not visiting at all because you are not ready yet. The time to start engaging is NOT when you are ready to launch your community - it is way before that. If you are not ready to post yet, start commenting on others posts. Get your name and photo recognized, build relationships, make connections so that when you are ready to launch, you are not starting from zero and people will recognize you. So, take this as the (loving) kick in the pants to start engaging in whatever manner works for you!

Thank you Shannon, I kind of feel embarrassed to keep promoting, I know it's something I need to get to grips with. I need to get a proper campaign together and promote properly. I will be upgrading this weekend, I'm working with my son on Sunday and we can put some stuff together. Again thank you for this amazing community and the service you provide ā¤ļø
