I hear a lot of comments about the longevity of a fragrance and I guess being new to the fragrance community (less than one year) I am not understanding the concern. Since I started I have always been more concerned with projection than longevity. I want not only me, but the people around me to be able to smell my fragrance. I am not talking about overpowering them, but if they are within 2 feet of me then they should be able to smell me. I started decanting my own fragrances (for myself, not to sell) so that I could always have the SOTD in my bag or pocket. It is a very safe way to transport the fragrance and with it only being about 5ML to 8ML, there is not concerns about temperature differences (you won't have the decant that long if you wear it often. Since I respray every 3 to 4 hours (depending on the fragrance) then longevity to me is not a real concern. What is more important to you?

So I was massing with my collection yesterday (been home sick so I am going stir crazy) and I started smelling many of my fragrances. The ones that I was gravitating to are my favorites and I kept ranking them in my head. I then came up with the idea to pull out the ones I felt we a complete fragrance that wore well on my skin. I did not go through any type of ranking criteria, I just pulled the ones that I really like. For those that know me, I did not include Calvin Klein Obsession for Men because for me that is in a class all on its own. Here is the Challenge: Go through your collection and pull out the fragrances that you consider 10 out of 10 for you. Not based on anything other than how you feel about the fragrance. I know that many of you have collections that are quite large (like me) so let's limit this to your top 12. Please post a picture of your choices.

Asad is supposed to resemble Sauvage, which I've only worn a couple of times, so my impression is based solely on Asad. The opening is a sweet, aromatic blend of woods and warm spices. It projects about 3 ft for the first hour, 1 ft for the next 6 hours, with strong sillage the rest of the day after that. I don't think it's very sophisticated, but the woody, spicy, vanilla accords are all blended so well, and it smells great all day long!

I forgot who's post I commented on or replied to , but it was around 1 Million Lucky. I got Ishq Al Shuyukh Silver, which was compared to 1 Million Lucky. I have not smelled the OG. I also ordered Error 413 from Dua, which is also a 1 Million Lucky clone. I gotta say, on strip they smell 95% identical. So if 2 houses claim inspiration by 1 Million Lucky and those 2 smell the same, I think it is safe to say these are good dupes of the OG.
