SOTD: Rasasi Hawas Ice
Reached for this one today. Was looking for that Invictus smell today. This is an excellent clone. Fresh yet a bubblegum sweetness cardamom plum and amber. It’s what Paco Rabanne is known for. This was is a beast off my skin. Great projection and longevity. Daytime/casual / date night / clubbing scent if you want to get noticed/ skews more youthful in my opinion. 8/10

Fragrance Question of The Day!
Most of us have bought fragrances that have been recommended by others. Whether it be influencers, friends, or family. Some of us have bought them because they’re “hyped” on YouTube or TikTok. What fragrance have you bought that was “hyped” but then fell short of your expectations? I’ll go first…although Armani Stronger with You Intensely is good, it didn’t live up to the hype for me.

Polo Blue, it was a let down for me.
Mont Blanc Legend Night (1/3)
Tried this today and honestly, it’s a very solid pick. The opening is warm but still fresh. You get that cardamom right away with bergamot and a tiny minty freshness. Then it shifts to that apple and lavender combo which brings in the sweetness. Feels super familiar, and now I know why. It was made just a year after Armani Code Profumo by the same guy, Antoine Maisondieu. That Code Profumo skeleton is definitely there. Woods and deep Vanilla kicks in later and rounds it all off. For me this sits somewhere between The One EDP and JPG Le Male Elixir. Not as bold as either, but very likeable and easy to wear. Plus the price here is ridiculous. £20 for 50ml! At that price it’s a steal. Also shoutout to the perfumer. Antoine’s got a crazy resume. YSL Myslf EDP & Parfum, CH Pasión, Valentino BIR Intense, Code Parfum (and other colder codes), TF Beau de Jour, MB Explorer and Extreme. This guy’s been in his bag for a while. Performance is the only “letdown”. Got like 2 to 3 hours of projection, then it goes closer to skin. 9 hrs in i can still get the smell but its a weaker. But lowkey that makes it a great date scent. Smooth and subtle. I still slightly prefer The One EDPs profile, and legend night wins in every other category. Giving it a 9.5/10. Loses half a point for that harsh alcohol blast in the first 10 seconds and being a bit too safe (im being too critical because there is nothing to hate about this). They mention fir resin and akigalawood but I barely picked those up. Might change my mind once I wear it more. But for now, it’s a perfect entry frag for someone in their early teens and 20s. Would defo recommend. Sample Courtesy: @Julio Gutierrez
