Happy New Year! Let's Master Sales in 2026 with Sales Mock Sessions
Hello everyone! Who's ready to thrive and soar with their clubs in 2026? Reintroducing myself and the Sales Mock Sessions, which will be starting later this week on the 7th. Last year @Cate Stillman and I sat down and came up with a thorough 3-part sales process that takes a fresh lead to becoming a new club member in three calls. I've been using this framework ever since and it has transformed the way I understand and conduct sales calls, and I'm looking forward to helping everyone here improve their sales game. This is a low-pressure environment where we can practice on each other, rather than on our prospects (which is a no-no!). And I'm learning and practicing right alongside you. Here to be support, a guide and a cheerleader. Let's do this! ~Valerie

Live in the Moment… and Pause to Review the Past
I love the simple insights and reminders I gain when I coach my club members. Today’s session was a good reminder (and practice) that before we design the future, we need to pause and look back. Three things that stood out: 1. Looking back gives insights. We (okay, let's me honest, I) often rush into planning what’s next without taking time to notice what actually worked, what shifted us, and what my body has already learned. Reflection is how we integrate wisdom and lessons learned. 2. Honesty isn't easy, but reveals more. Noticing what drained us, what felt harder than it should have, and where we settled isn’t about judgement. It’s about telling ourselves the truth so something new can emerge. 3. Long-term rhythm REALLY matters. Real change rarely happens in short bursts. When things get uncomfortable, it’s easy to give up. Having a longer-term container, practice, or vision supports us through the messy middle (and why I really love the club model. A member who has nearly reached her 1 year anniversary shared how grateful she was for the journey and what "sticking with it" for the year enabled her to see) this is where most transformation actually happens. My take-into 2026: Growth isn't about doing more, it's about listening more deeply and committing longterm to that desire/ goal.

@Nina Saacks What did you find most fascinating from looking back? What is something that manifested for you in 2025?
Remind me who is leading sessions and can this be on the calendar?
Hello WPA ~ I'm hoping to configure my schedule again so I am able to be on more calls when Cate is leading. Can someone remind me of the regular pattern again of who leads what & when and also can this be on thumnail that is on the calendar so if something switches we can see it there? That would be helpful thanks! @Club Thrive Global @Cate Stillman

@Kavita Kat Macmillan Check out the WPA Coaching Guide over in Our Calendar section of the WPA classroom. It lists the call frequency, who is leading, and agenda for 2026. @Club Thrive Global
What to say?
So I'm finding that I am not sure exactly what to say in situations where I'm, out of the blue or at a gathering of some sort, especially around the holidays, asked what am I up to? How do you work with people? Tell me about your business? I've always struggled with the ""elevator speech." I'd love to work on this on a call at some point. And learn how to keep it short distinct powerful into the point and get them on a phone call with me… This is just a different way of working that I have in the past. @Cate Stillman

@Paula Pister Check out this short by Daniel Priestly for Name, Fame, Same, Aim. I have started to use this framework and have found it to be an evolving practice.
