Hi Leslee! I currently have a few partners but since I live in Tokyo I'm super curious - what are you doing in S. Korea? If you ever pop over to Tokyo let me know!

@Leslee McCoy That's amazing! We definitely should connect if even just to meet and greet. I made a permanent (hopefully) move here with my husband. It was part of our long-term vision, but he got the lucky job offer last year and we decided to take it!
some progress AND a question :)
Finally got revisiting/building assets SCHEDULED with my assistant- feels like we are picking up some momentum. I expect to have all assets built out by the end of March. Just wanted to give a quick update! OK now here is my question and would like some feedback from you guys- I have been so frustrated with my job (some of you know I work in construction as essentially a sort of director- it feels like the rug has been getting pulled out from under me the last few months quite a bit). I have been seeking out a new position BUT with the new momentum in my club i'm thinking... what if i just stick it out here and put all my 'new job' focus into just crushing it with my club? as i write it out it seems like a no-brainer, but when i was focusing on attracting 'blue collar women' i had felt stuck for so long. i only sort of redirected the course of my club within the last month or so. A thought that came to me last week in a moment of clarity is there is no reason i can't find a new job that feels EASEFUL and fun that pays well while I keep building my business. the feelings of confusion and frustration in my current role may be holding me back more than a new job would. thoughts??
some progress AND a question :)

Hey Lisa - I just got a part-time job at a cafe so that I can afford to take my time with Club. I spent the last two years white-knuckling it without much money coming in. It wasn't easeful, that's for sure. I'm very clear that what I'm doing here in WPA is important, and that I'm dedicated to my Club growing, but I'm also now clear that for me to be aligned with how I want my Club to grow, I also require upholding the lifestyle I want for my clients for myself. Having the more easeful job creates space for more intention and less self-imposed urgency. And it also allows for my personal life to keep developing alongside career and business.
Happy New Year! Let's Master Sales in 2026 with Sales Mock Sessions
Hello everyone! Who's ready to thrive and soar with their clubs in 2026? Reintroducing myself and the Sales Mock Sessions, which will be starting later this week on the 7th. Last year @Cate Stillman and I sat down and came up with a thorough 3-part sales process that takes a fresh lead to becoming a new club member in three calls. I've been using this framework ever since and it has transformed the way I understand and conduct sales calls, and I'm looking forward to helping everyone here improve their sales game. This is a low-pressure environment where we can practice on each other, rather than on our prospects (which is a no-no!). And I'm learning and practicing right alongside you. Here to be support, a guide and a cheerleader. Let's do this! ~Valerie

Is your sleep undermining your ability to run your club?
Is your sleep quietly undermining your ability to run your club? So good to see some of you on the Early to Bed call on Monday with @Nina Saacks and me 💛How has your week been since? From here on out, this is where you’ll find us — leading the Club Thrive habit calls on the first and third Monday of each month. We’re genuinely excited to step into this role and support you in building the rhythms that let you show up fully… in your life and in your club. Here’s why this matters. As coaches (and especially as club builders), it’s easy — almost normal — to put our own habits on the back burner while we “get things off the ground.” We hustle. We push. We tell ourselves we’ll circle back to sleep, food, and nervous system care later. And yet… those are the very things that make it possible to: - take brave action - have sales conversations - lean into our edges - connect, network, and build real momentum The “boots-on-the-ground, ignore-my-body” approach usually backfires. Quietly at first. Then loudly. I’ve lived this. When I neglected my sleep, my energy dropped, my motivation faded, and the work I loved started to feel heavy. That’s not a personal failure — it’s physiology. And the good news? You get to write a different story. These habit calls are an invitation to build your business from a regulated, resourced body — one small, doable habit at a time. So come play with us. Join us on the first and third Mondays as we work with the habits that support and sustain the club you’re here to build. I’m here for you. Bring your questions to the calls, and feel free to message me anytime if you need support — with habits or with the WPA side of things. Your mind will isolate you and tell you to go it alone...don't listen, come and connect with your community. :o) @Nina Pullella @Lisa Myers @Amy Glasser @Britt Vanderhoof @Cheyenne Carter @Daniel Boarman @Yael Bernstein @Angie Walker @Cristina Davies @Paloma Castro @Sandy Chapman @Darlene Fermaint @Dina Mukhamadieva @Cristina Davies @Keerti Dwivedi @Elizabeth Stauder @Jessica Emich @Laura Erickson @Rachel Eastwood @Tarna Fuller @Patrick Garlinger @Haylee Hickman @Heather Stewart, MS, LMT @Valerie Hwang Beck @Jacalyn Prete @Jennifer White @Jessica Emich @Jessica Robinson @Karthik Jay @Meghann Jacobs @Kavita Kat Macmillan @Rajeshwari Kantamneni @Leslee McCoy @Lisa Strylowski @Lynn Beck @Marie Weitbrecht @Paula Pister @Sal ㅤ @Sandy Chapman @Tamanna Zahan @Virginia White @

I find myself needing support on this. It hasn't been a problem until recently, but I think the fatigue from my cycle along with intensive mental labor of holding space for my members and also dealing with big lifestyle shifts is taking a toll on my body. I feel restless at night often because of physical discomfort and overthinking. About to go into a reset with my members so I'll be working on restoring restful sleep as the main goal.
Happy new year everyone!
My new year did not start out in the way I had intended. My mother passed suddenly on December 30. My question is, I'm not sure if I should be leaning into or leaning back from this group over the next month. I know everyone is on a high for the new year… Weirdly enough I still am also however, pausing to take care of all the logistics plus honoring my mom, etc. feels like the most important thing. And I definitely don't want to bring anybody down because we've been preparing for an exciting and intentional 2026. I'm traveling today through the 20th but plan to do my best in the morning hours to plug-in. If anyone has any other advice I would be grateful. Just trying to process everything yet remain with 1 foot on track. And stay present with what is in front of me right now. I realize I am now an orphan adult, which feels really strange and unfamiliar… Anyone else in this land? 🙏🥰 Paula
