Customer return
A US based customer wants to return the print for the following reason, I do accept returns however I will not pay for a label since it’s just a change of mind, what’s the best way to go about this? It’s a large print 😭

This is a snippet from my "Important Info" that I include in every listing description and send to every buyer after purchase. "Please check carefully. All sizes and details are clearly shown in every listing. I can’t issue refunds or replacements if the artwork, colour, paper type, frame colour or size aren't suitable for your space once it arrives, or if you’ve changed your mind." This covers you in instances like this. Also include that everything is made to order. I also give people 12 hours to change their mind or make any changes before I send orders to print. I hope that's helpful!
Drop in sales :(
Hi everyone, For the past few weeks we were getting almost one sale a day. Unfortunately, we have noticed a drop in sales coincidentally when we did frame integration. I haven't altered titles or tags and I am aware Etsy rotate shops to give other sellers a chance. Just wasn't expecting it drop this much since we were building up good momentum as our shop is only 3 months old. Just wondering if anyone is experiencing something similar or had any thoughts. Thanks in advance!

@Jasper Hall Had to look at my stats, no idea! πŸ˜„ Last 30 days 7,700 visits (with 1 dead week included) and I have around 620 listings currently but I don't use AI. It was a digital download shop before I discovered Print Shrimp - adding posters was the turning point. Hopefully frames will build it further. Well done on your first Β£100 day!
FRAMES ARE LIVE - Everything You Need to Know!
Hey guys, Happy Thursday! We are thrilled to announce that we have FINALLY launched framed prints on PrintShrimp!! Those of you that have been around for a while honestly have probably given up hope, but I promise we have been working so hard behind the scenes to get these live πŸ˜† Frames are available in 3 finishes (Oak, Black and White). All frames arrive ready to hang. Please view the attached pdfs for images and more details. So, what do you need to do? Obviously, frames don't automatically appear for sale on your Etsy shop. Before you start panicking about how much it will be to add frames to all of your listings - don't worry! We have built a couple of tools that allow you to add frames to all of your listings (and yes you can use them for free) These will create your listings so they are set up with variation options for Print Only Black Frame Oak Frame White Frame Attached is a screenshot of what your listings will look like after adding them with the tool Head to your portal and click on the new tab 'Frame Launch' Please please please watch the YouTube videos (and pay attention lol) that go through how to add frames to your shops. It's a simple process but there are a few things you need to do to add frames, and the videos explain it all to you very clearly. The two main things you need to do are: Edit your listings to have one SKU: For us to edit your listings and add frames, we need all of your listings to have one SKU per product. We have built a tool that will identify where your listings differ and clean them up for you. You will need to do this as step 1 if your products have multiple SKUs (i.e. an SKU for each size variation) Actually edit your listings to add framed variations: This is where the magic happens. You need to do a few things such as disable global and domestic pricing, so please watch the videos that details all of this. We have our recommended pricing built into the software that will apply to all of your listings, for frames and print only. This includes some modifications to print only recommended pricing we had before (which means higher profits for you guys compared to before). I have attached a guide with the new recommended pricing below! Here you can get a snapshot of the expected profits from selling frames! This is based on UK prices and accounts for UK VAT when charged and Etsy fees.

@Max Murray I'm going through and adding the personalisation box, hopefully should only take a few hours and worth it in the long run!

I've had my best sellers sold by tons of temu sellers and had them all taken down - just use the portal: https://www.temu.com/intellectual-property-complaint.html?_x_sessn_id=e0f1hqb4ji&refer_page_name=intellectual-property-policy&refer_page_id=19457_1776945152053_2ql2zprr5w&refer_page_sn=19457
Refund for print
Hi I've had a customer stating they want a refund because the print isn't framed. When I clearly state they aren't. What do I do because they clearly aren't going to return the print.

Hey Sally, you don't need to give a refund if your item wasn't mis-described. If you clearly state in your description that all of your prints are unframed, then the responsibility is on the buyer to read the description properly. One option is to offer a partial refund as an act of goodwill and to avoid a terrible review. Sometimes it's worth taking half a hit. I had a customer who did this with a digital download, she thought she was going to get a printed poster plus shipping for Β£5 (ridiculous), she was just an awful awful customer who refused to take any responsibility that she hadn't read the listing. She left a 1 star review a full year later that just said I was "selling not a real product" which I asked Etsy to remove and they did. My advice would be to kill with kindness in your correspondence with all customers, no matter how much of a horrible person they might be (your customer might be lovely and understanding!). Don't be defensive or accusatory. The only risk is a terrible review but that is inevitably going to happen occasionally, no matter what you do. You can add in an extra layer of cover by including some basic Ts & Cs in your description. I do this, and I send a message to each customer thanking them for buying and attaching the Ts & Cs at the bottom - I also give people 12 hours between their order being placed and it going to print. This way, they've had every opportunity to check the description, their size, colour, address etc and you're completely covered. Yes it's extra admin but it works a treat. It also gives your shop a human feel, emphasising that you're a real person with active customer service. Going the extra mile goes a long way in the long term. I agree the advice is for them to open a case with Etsy. I hope this is helpful! :)
