ALL SELLERS WANTED!
Two things I want to make you aware of which might have a negative impact on your sales. I have recently found out by mistake through a customer from France that Etsy is supressing your listings. Yes it's a thing. What does this mean? Etsy is showing only certain listings or none at all, depending on regional laws or just algorithm manipulation, or a combination of both. I had listings which the customer was looking for and I sent the links directly, which he couldn't access as they were blocked in France. Etsy calls it "Geo-suppression". To be fair I was not surprised to find this out as it just enforces what I was suspecting for a while now. SECOND ISSUE and this is a big one: Do yourself a favour and check for your artwork on Temu or eBay as it might be there, sold by others. I have found my artwork being sold across multiple shops on both Temu and eBay, in the thousands... I already filed multiple Intellectual property reports with Temu and I'm trying to get the shops removed, unfortunately they are not as strict as Etsy so I have to keep pushing them. This is where a collective effort would hopefully be successful. With eBay, I am waiting to enrol in their VeRO programme which will allow to report the infringing content. If you do find any infringing content, below are some links and materials to help you. https://www.temu.com/intellectual-property-complaint.html. https://www.ebay.com/sellercenter/resources/verified-rights-owner-profiles Get your artwork removed, especially now before the holidays, don't let them profit off your work.

What’s That ONE Design That Surprised You?
POD is funny sometimes, the design we think will crush it usually just sits there πŸ¦— and then the simple one takes off like crazy πŸš€. For me, I was really surprised when I uploaded a super simple text-only design that just said β€˜Coffee First, Adulting Later’. Honestly, I only made it in like 10 minutes as a filler upload, and I didn’t even expect much from it. But it ended up selling way more than the detailed illustration I spent hours working on πŸ˜…. What about you what’s one design you uploaded that completely surprised you, either by flopping or becoming a bestseller?”

Hey guys, I just wanted to give you a quick update on future plans and what is coming soon with us! We have been working very hard behind the scenes to keep improving PrintShrimp, and bring you guys as much value as we possibly can. Unfortunately the nature of our business means that we are often waiting on third parties for us to be able to release new things πŸ˜… But we are constantly working behind the scenes on further improvements and releases 🫑 So, here is our rough roadmap. We want to involve you guys as much as possible with what is going on! Quickly, for those of you newer here, PrintShrimp was founded just under a year ago. But really, we’ve only been officially β€˜active’ since January - as that is when our order portal first went live! PrintShrimp is just a team of two, me and my co-founder Max! It’s been a long road and so much hard work to get here, but we are loving the journey and that is why we want you involved and actively a part of it alongside us. Before January, poster orders were placed via email, and it involved me being chained to my laptop, manually sending orders! (This has probably given some people in this Skool PTSD if they were there during these days hahaha) So in just under a year, two people have basically managed to beat the poster offerings of Gelato, Printify and other POD suppliers in the space. And we are only just getting started! Every poster order from you guys really means a lot to us and we are loving this journey every single day πŸ˜‡ Without further ado, here is what we are working on: USA Price Slash - When we say our ethos is fairly priced Print on Demand, we mean it! After a couple months of negotiating, we have started working with a supplier who is able to give us much more competitive pricing. We will be passing these savings straight onto you guys! All of our US prices will be dropping by around Β£1-2, allowing you guys to further boost your profit margin. When? Hopefully early next week! We are just awaiting very final confirmation on their end.

New Print Sizes Now Live!
Hello my poster people, Hope we all had a lovely weekend. As most of you probably noticed, we have made 10 new sizes officially live in the PrintShrimp portal! These are: 20x30" - Common US size for movie posters 24x32" - Less common than other sizes but still used in the USA 28x40" - Big size = big money πŸ€‘ don't be afraid to price this one high! 30x40" - Same as above and we have also introduced square prints! These are quite cool and often sell well as bundles, to create a grid style layout on someones wall. Be creative with these ones πŸ˜‰ 10x10" 12x12" 14x14" 16x16" 18x18" 20x20" For a reminder of what sizes are used for and where they are most popular, read below! https://www.printshrimp.com/blog/what-sizes-to-sell Have a good Monday everyone 😎 p.s. hopefully some more cool announcements coming this or next week!
A5/A4 Shipping Upgrade Option Live 🚨
Hello everyone, As some of you may have noticed - Royal Mail have been AWFUL recently with delivering letters. They have been sending out notices to business sellers with accounts stating that they will only be delivering letters every other day, which then gives a huge backlog. Basically, they don’t want to send letters anymore and want to be more like Amazon! Who would've thought we'd live in a world where Royal Mail is anti-letters. Utter nonsense πŸ˜† So, following on from this, we have just added the option to upgrade the shipping for A5/A4/5x7"/8x10" to a fully tracked service. This will be proper full tracking this way like you are used to for all other sizes - and will mean Royal Mail will treat these letters like a parcel and actually deliver in a timely manner! We know these sizes haven't been the best recently and as the current type of tracking only updates upon delivery it has been causing some issues. We did debate just increasing our prices and making this new tracking type the default - however we wanted to give you guys the option as I know Β£5.49 A4s are quite appealing πŸ€ͺ This upgrade will be available upon the order confirmation page, when you place an order with these sizes. It costs us Β£2 for this upgrade and we are passing this cost directly onto you. We'd recommend switching to this option (and going towards Christmas we may have to make this the default) but it's your profit margins, so completely up to you guys 🫑
