Is this normal
Hey guys, I’m quite new to this journey. I’m A week and a half in, iv got 314 listings so far on my shop. Iv researched, looked at best sellers, researched tags etc uploaded videos to each listing. I’m sharing on Pinterest, Tik tok, insta and doing the etsys ads thing. My views on going up daily but no sales yet. That’s normal this early on right?
Shopify Marketing Advice for a Large Poster Store
Hi everyone! Hope everyone’s shop is doing well. I’m planning to build and grow my own Shopify store for my poster business, and the biggest thing I’m trying to figure out is the marketing strategy. We already have thousands of poster designs, so obviously it wouldn’t make sense to create and run a separate ad for every single poster. For those of you who have experience with Shopify or print-on-demand, I’d love to hear how you would approach this: - Would you focus mainly on Facebook/Instagram ads, Google Ads, Pinterest, TikTok, or something else - Would you advertise individual best-selling posters, collections/niches, or the store/brand itself? - What works better for posters: image/carousel ads or video ads? - If you have thousands of designs across different niches, how do you decide which ones are worth advertising? - Would you send traffic directly to individual products or to collection/category pages? - What kind of strategy would you use to test ads without spending a fortune? I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who has successfully moved from Etsy to Shopify or runs a large print-on-demand catalog. Would love to hear what has worked for you and what mistakes you would avoid. Thanks!

hiya - I've finally made my first sale! YAY! Can I just double check I've done everything right please before clicking the sale through on printshimp order - its going to the USA, and not a standard A size. I've resized the image via canva as its a 11x17" ( 28x43cm) using the fab diagram with the all the dimensions. the pic fits in the upload on printshimp, so i know its the right size... but my image stats are saying 3419 x 5250 px - is this okay, as its above the Recommended Pixel Dimensions. Thanks in advance for any help. :)
Upscaling and dpi
I’m in the process of trying to make posters. I’m a little bit confused about dpi and upscaling. At the moment I’m making posters on canva by creating a custom template of 84.1cm x118.9cm (which I think are the dimensions for A0) and putting the pixel size to the max on canva of 9,993 x 14,043. When I download these I’m pretty sure I get a 300 dpi. I’ve read the comments about using upscayl but I don’t think my laptop is good enough to download it on my desktop. Is my current method good enough? If not should I just list posters from A1-A5 and ignore A0?
DPI Question...
I'm creating images using midjourney and canva. When I download the final product from Canva the DPI is 96. If I zoom in on the image, it's pretty decent, but is this good enough for printing in the larger sizes? Are people proceeding with 96 dpi and finding all is ok when customer recieve their orders? Or are people finding a way to make their prints 300dpi before uploading to PrintShrimp? Thanks!
