I’m sure just about everyone here is also on RMRS, so, If you’ve seen this, please excuse the double post. Does everyone remember this scratched disaster I got on marketplace for $30? The new crystal and bezel insert came in. I’d say this is more of a mod than a restoration. The flat mi real crystal was replaced with a double dome sapphire. I couldn’t find a bezel insert that fit (yet) so I polished the old one and piggy backed a slightly smaller one. I bought a gold plating kit- that wasn’t so successful, but I’ll have other opportunities to try. Overall, a worthwhile project.

This watch has one of my favorite dials in my collection. I love the cream color. Also, this is the only watch I have that isn’t a bracelet. What color straps and types of straps would go well with this? I bought a gray canvas strap but lost it and never put it on lol

This Grand Diver has a 300m water resistance and runs a super reliable Seiko NH35A movement. It was the first ever Automatic I purchased, in April 2024, whilst on a cruise with my family.
