Coeliac Safe Protein Bars/On the Go Snacks
Hi everyone! I’m a healthcare shift worker who is always on the go. I received a coeliac disease diagnosis just before December of 2025! I’m still new to this whole thing and am looking for any yummy recommendations for a brand of coeliac safe protein bars? Or even a good protein packed snack that’s easy on the go? Open to any and all suggestions!! Thank you!! ♡︎
Eggs on toast alternative/hack
I found this toast alternative hack for any of your favourite “eggs on …” meals. Slice a large sweet potato (I prefer the orange/yam variety) into 1cm thick slices in whatever direction that gives you the largest slice (lengthwise). Brush both sides with olive oil and pop into the toaster. It takes a couple of goes through the toaster while your eggs are cooking but the result is amazing.

GF Pierogi!
Anyone have those favourite foods/recipes they're nervous to try after diagnosis because it'd be heartbreaking if the GF version doesn't feel/taste the same? Pierogis were one of mine- I put it off for some time and finally attempted last week. I was so relieved they felt and tasted the same and that I could still fold them nicely! Here's the recipe :) https://glutenfreeonashoestring.com/gluten-free-potato-pierogi/

I’m Polish and haven’t had pierogis since diagnosis due to the same fears !! This has inspired me to try a GF pierogi recipe tonight !!

Hi Ella & community! 👋 My name is Julia and I was diagnosed at the end of November (2025). During the Christmas season, I was on the struggle bus both physically and mentally. I’m so happy I’ve found this free resource! I’m physically and mentally exhausted and so ready to put myself first in 2026. Hoping to build connection and find better ways to cope to insure stability!! Main goals: improving fitness and my relationship with food.
