Challenge Struggle
I almost didn’t post this because I’m more comfortable showing wins than naming the struggle. The last two weeks have been heavier than I expected. I entered this challenge feeling very neutral because this was already a lifestyle I was following. i was still doing strength + cardio daily and tracking my life. I found myself finally at a place of consistently consistent. But here is the truth as I have been tweaking some things and trying to dial in a bit more it all hits different. Recently my body felt like lead — slow, heavy, exhausted in a way that effort didn’t fix. Watching the scale go up, then stall, made it harder. But honestly I am learning that it doesn’t dictate my worth. As I kept feeling worse I decided to honor some more recovery for my body. Honoring recovery felt like failing. Failure for myself and a failure to my partner. Luckily my partner and I got a lot of years between us as friends. ( I hope everyone has a ride or die like I found in @Christina Lynch ) There were days I found myself feeling failure because I wasn’t checking all my boxes. I even pulled back and didn’t lean into Skool the way I usually do. I decided that my best isn’t a fixed output. Some days your best is pushing. Some days your best is showing up and listening. My body was clear — nothing needed to be added. Something needed to give. When I allowed more recovery, things shifted. Inflammation dropped and my headspace felt lighter. The checkmark I didn’t get last week, I replaced with a smiley face because if we aren’t listening and having an honest relationship with our body, what the heck are we doing. If you’ve felt heavy, tired, or a little withdrawn during this challenge — please hear this: You are not weak. You are not behind. And you are not failing. Sometimes progress looks like rest. Sometimes discipline looks like pausing. Sometimes missing a checkmark is a huge 😄

Week 4 day 1
Tested myself against 4 weeks ago. Definitely some improvement. But most of all my mike on the walking pad is did 2 min of warm up then the rest on 5 for speed. Super proud of myself. Yes my push-ups and squats went up. But the Mile is where I wanted to see improvement and I did it.

Way to go!!
THRIVING!!
When we think of thriving and getting results, we often jump straight to the big stuff—the large-scale changes, body composition shifts, dramatic transformations. But as we continue to focus on the EFFORT—learning to see the beauty in the small, sometimes messy steps—I want to shout out a few of our community members/clients today 👏✨ @Shelia Bolick — I see you sharing more, and that is truly admirable. Being raw and real, putting in the work and EFFORT to show up not only for you but to help others… that is exactly what we’re all about. @Lisa Browning — a recovering perfectionist 😉 who entered this current challenge with the intention of getting uncomfortable and not just checking all the boxes for the sake of it. That awareness is growth. @Christina Lynch — a newer friend who is putting in the work for HER, even while navigating a new season of life with schooling back on her plate. That matters. @Katie Blankenship — leading and sharing all the value she’s getting from P&E on social, inspiring others to join the Skool community, start Thrive30 workouts, and take advantage of nutrition tracking and other tools. She’s doing the doing—and feeling the benefits. @Kat Olsen & @Katelyn Hitchcock — for starting your journeys. Starting is the hardest part, as we know. Taking that first step can feel incredibly challenging because it means opening yourself up to new. And new can be scary. New is unfamiliar. I know there's many of you putting in the work so let's keep the momentum going, comment and tag someone in our community showing up and inspiring you! ✨ As a reminder: when something is new, you should feel nervous—that’s normal. One of the best things I’ve read recently says: “When you get nervous because you’re doing something new and your heart beats faster, that’s your body internally applauding you for growing.”

🏈 Super Bowl Squares Are Back! 🏈
This is a BIG year — my team is back in the Super Bowl, and one of my favorite things we did last year was Super Bowl Squares… so LET’S DO IT AGAIN! 🎉 Here’s the cool part: You invest in YOU, and you get squares! 💰 Every $50 spent through the P&E 1st Phorm support link = 1 square! 🎁 Winners will get gift cards for each quarter and the final score! Let’s have some fun… but of course, pray the Patriots win! (Sorry Seattle fans… hehe 😏) How to play: 1️⃣ Shop here: 1st Phorm P&E Link 2️⃣ Message me the # of total squares you’ve earned.(Shipping & tax do NOT count toward $50, and orders MUST be associated with P&E. If you’re unsure, message me!) and your #s you want! ⏰ You have from today (1/27) until the day before the Super Bowl (2/7) to invest — or until all squares are full! Let’s make it fun — who’s ready to play AND support their health at the same time?! 🏆 https://www.canva.com/design/DAG_pIJp_W4/hQyvRzfbqXz2PGf8cJlzAw/view?utm_content=DAG_pIJp_W4&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link2&utm_source=uniquelinks&utlId=h4341bff7e4
