Let’s go! 🚀
Some fun facts about me: I’m a lifelong Liverpool supporter (yes, even down here on the south coast of England!). I lived in the USA for a while but moved back to the UK in 2020. I’m married and have four grown-up kids, so life’s never dull. Why are you here? I am 52. I’ve just hit an all-time high of 113.2kg and I know it’s time to change. I want to take back control of my health and start building better habits. Where are you from? I’m from the south coast of England. Went to university in Bristol. Lived in Yorkshire and Idaho, USA. Now living in the Cotswolds. What would you like to achieve in the next 30 days? I’d love to lose 5 kilos, but more importantly, I want to be consistent with exercise, eating healthier, and feeling more energetic. What do you enjoy doing in your social time? Spending time travelling, messing about with new tech, and watching sport. Which team or sport do you follow? Liverpool FC — been a Red all my life! Let’s go! 🚀

Welcome @Ashley Sterland 👍 I'm from East London and also a lifelong Liverpool fan 👌 The group is a big support and great at sharing hints and tips!! You've got this 💪
Happy to join the crew
Good morning everyone, I live in Edinburgh, but born and bred in Oxford. I do stay pretty fit but perhaps need help to further my levels of fitness and eating. Just back from 2 weeks in Crete, while there found out I'm being made redundant. Not good at 60 - this will play on my mental health badly. I embarked on a health kick this year and have lost 5kgs due to the state of my mental health. So I'm scared for the future in so many ways. I do have abs...but winter is coming and i don't want to fall down the Mince pie & chocolates holes i did last year!!!!
Happy to join the crew

Yesterday was Day 30.. my Wins
Finished the first 30 days and this is where i am at. 1. No inflammation in joints💪 2. Loads more energy than expected⚡️ 3. Greater clarity of thought💭🗯️🗯️ 4. Renewed enjoyment of cooking🥘🧑‍🍳 5. 5cm deduction in waist measurement📏📏⚖️ 6. 7kg weight loss ⚖️⚖️ I will be starting the 30 day gut challenge in 3 days time. As I don’t wish to waste food I have given myself this short period of time to finish portions of food that are unable to be frozen. @Mark Bryce this challenge has been life changing… it has provided me with the best start to the rest of my life…I am truly grateful that you provided such an amazing opportunity to, not only myself, but also to the other members of the community that have provided encouragement and support to myself during this challenge..You really are an inspiring leader… thank you ever so much🙏🙏🤗🧐

Amazing results @Cathy Curnow 💪
Meal Planner Template
Each weekend, I recommend you sit down and complete the weekly commitments form. In the questions, it asks, Have you planned next week's meals? This is where this template comes in. Your goal is to fill in the blanks. You may decide to just do Monday - Friday. Once complete, what food shopping do you need, and can you do any prep of snacks or meals to save time going into the new week? This is what seperates the winners from losers in the lifestyle game. It's habitual. Remember, "failing to prepare is preparing to fail"

I definitely need to use this as my meals are random. I know I need more structure to my diet. Thanks for sharing
7 days in...
So 7 days have passed and the water intake seems easier, foods on track (although no where near some of the pics that's been shared), steps are there or thereabouts and workouts good. My only issue remains toilet visits each night 😬 at least 3 per night for the 7 days straight, which is impacting all the benefits. I am stopping water intake late afternoon but has had no impact. Any suggestions? My bladder has always been weak and i would normally expect 1 nightly trip, but 3-4 is taking things too far.

@Glenda Badal thanks, fingers and legs crossed. Last night was better with a slight water intake reduction 👍

@Cathy Curnow thanks for the share. I need to get stricter with water intake finishing time. I have reduced to 2.5 litres also which has helped. Last night was better, and tonight will be too 👍
