🚨 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT — 13.5kg DOWN & STILL RISING 🚨
“I’ve got it.” That’s what most driven people say. High achievers. Busy professionals. The ones who always find a way. But what happens when “figuring it out” stops working? For @Michael Gallagher …The training was there. The food wasn’t awful.The effort was never the issue. But the results? Stalled. Confidence? Fading. Energy? Drained. Progress? Stuck. That’s when he made the decision most people never do: He reached out. He got support. And he took action. We created a structure around his real life not some perfect scenario: ✅ Strength work paired with Orange Theory ✅ A simplified fat loss nutrition approach that worked for HIM ✅ Mindset shifts to make success repeatable, not just possible Since then: 🔥 13.5kg (30lbs) lost 🔥 Body fat down — performance UP 🔥 Training for a half marathon 🔥 Reverse dieting & building lean muscle 🔥 Confidence through the roof This is what happens when you stop guessing. This is what’s possible when you combine effort with direction. Michael didn’t lose his edge, he levelled it up. 📌 Let this be proof: Where you are now doesn’t have to be where you stay. If you’re feeling stuck, behind, or unsure if it’s “working”… Your breakthrough might be one message, one plan, and one decision away. Let’s keep showing up. Let’s keep leading from the front. We don’t coast here... we COMMIT. 👇 Drop Michael some love below — and if you’re next, say “I’m next” in the comments 👇

@Jordan Shepherd thank you!
Skinny Support
Going to pre-empt this post saying I've spoken to both James and Simon about this and I AM TRUSTING the process. Still on the cutting/losing weight stage. Saw more people this weekend who commented on how skinny I looked. By all accounts still got up to 3-5kg to go and my clothes looking big on me now! Fellas, this isn't a moan, but I am struggling a bit with this, let's call it a getting it off my chest post!!!!

@Paul Read I needed some new jeans and bought 3 pairs a couple weeks ago at the waist size I had for years. Two weeks later…they’re a little loose 🤣 Doesn’t matter. I could literally slide my old jeans down without unbuttoning them. Like a magic trick. I think it’s true that when you make a change for the better for yourself, others sometimes internalize it and feel bad about the changes they aren’t making. For example, people are quick to ask me why I’m choosing not to have a drink when they are, but I never once would think to question why they are having a drink. Or if someone asks “are you working out more?” and I say “No, I always worked out. The big changes are nutrition, alcohol, sleep…” they immediately start making excuses why they can’t. I find myself saying “I’m not the Nutrition Police…calm down!” Someone recently commented “Your face looks too thin.” My reply was “How fat was my face??” (I’ve dropped 12 kg, nothing drastic, so the comment took me off guard.) You aren’t “too” anything. You’re Paul. You do you, my man. You’ve got this.
Fighting the "yeah, but..."
Good morning/afternoon/evening my teammates...just completed my morning check-in with myself and I noticed I am struggling with the "Evil Yeah-buts" right now. For example: "I've done really well to shed some fat...yeah, but there's more to go and it's the stubborn bit." Or "Those decline presses James prescribed are feeling great...yeah, but I still have saggy moobies..." Or "I get to go see some nice patients today...yeah, but the paperwork...uggggghhh." To be clear, I am not looking for more pats on the back in the comments. I'm simply acknowledging what's coming up for me and putting it out there because I suspect pretty much the entire group will identify with this tendency. Most of us are hard-wired to focus on the negative because that's what kept us alive when we were hunters and gatherers living in caves...but it doesn't serve us all that well these days. I'm working on noticing these thoughts when they come up, pausing, and replacing the thought with something positive and based in fact. Anyone else struggling with this? Have you found strategies that work to quell the naysayer living in your head? Have a great weekend and keep up the good work!

Last week was massive for some performance wins for me...but I'm most pleased with finally taking a true break from alcohol. Never been more than a social drinker, but it was still several nights a week of 1-3 drinks. Of all the things I can do for my long term health, this one is on the top of the list. Love the statement about us being a combination of the 5 people we spend the most time with. Environment: added a walking pad under my desk last week. Today I am going to place any remaining alcohol I have out in the garage so that it's out of sight and out of mind.
Kickstart 25 - Day 11
Slightly over calories yesterday as had dinner out for a friend’s birthday Do we let it do rail loss just because we’ve gone a couple of hundred calories over obviously not We’re proactive and just go a couple hundred calories lower over the next day or two and make sure we focus on that weekly calorie target Consistently good beats occasionally great

Man, I do not even know what day I’m commenting on 🤣 Past two days…under cals, no alcohol, nightly journaling (about to do the journal bit).
