Pulling up to new goals...
For weeks and weeks, I had a chin up/pull up in my workout routine set by @James Pace but something about doing them in the gym, in front of everyone, and expecting myself to look a fool meant I avoided it and kept chickening out. In my most recent check in, James gave me the push I needed to give it a go. Just 3 simple pull ups. And I'm so glad a d thankful he did! My next session, I just sucked it up and did it, not great form, but still, I managed to suprise myself even as to how much I could lift. The first step. A couple weeks later, I've been doing a set of three every session, slowly building that strength, but crucially that confidence to try it too. Today I managed TWO sets of three, I was a shaky mess at the end and my form isn't perfect yet. But it's literally 100% more than I was doing a fornight ago. Small wins physically, big mental gains! Today's attempt video attached below as proof to myself of how far I'm coming!

......and I know this is what the coaches normally post, but it's a win of sorts. Training through the tail end of my man flu and the app told me this today. That's my gym sessions in 11 months, so yeah, happy with that.

Hi everyone! Here from Texas checking in! 🤠🇺🇸 Never in my life have I been a runner but here we are. This is my farthest run to date. Every week I surprise myself more and more with the distance. Although muscle strength is a factor, I have learned that running is a massive amount of mental strength. You’re stronger than you think!! I truly believe anyone can become a runner if they choose to be. Might just give up riding the horse to work and just run instead! 😂

FIRST SESSION BACK 🩷👶
Had my GP appointment at 3:45pm who gave me the all clear 5+5 weeks post c-section. In the gym by 5pm …! Feeling so weak/tender after not gymming for 7 weeks, plus the fact of being pregnant for 9 months 😂 Kept everything light - just 2 sets of a few exercises followed by some deep core work. Soo excited to build things back up from here. P.S in desperate need of cleaning the gym mirror 😂 now on my to-do-list for this week!
