Mindful Eating
@Courtney Doll Your mindful eating suggestion is having its way with me. I find myself very calm, standing at my kitchen sink/window with a snack of some sort - hard boiled egg, carrots, whatever.... and look out the window and have a lil meditation. I think of you and what you said on your video - eating slow, chewing more, breathe, quietness.... and the fact that I love my kitchen window is making it a lovely experience. Thought I let you know that you make a difference. Thank You!

Hi everyone, I'm Taylor!
I've been struggling with guttate psoriasis since I was about 20 years old. My flares would just about cover me from head to toe and last up to 8 months. I was at a loss with how to properly treat my condition other than light therapy. I met Andrew earlier this year and he gave me the best lifestyle, diet and supplement advice! Now when I flare, I can get it under control in about 1 month. I'm so grateful to have such incredible improvement, and I cant wait to continue my health journey with Systema! 😊

Hi, I’m Michelle :)
Very excited to be a part of this health journey and meet other people interested in maximizing their health and well-being. I have a tendency to go in and out of working on my well-being in a half-hearted way at times and in obsessively full force at other times, fudging things here and there and that’s something I’m pretty okay with. But I also have a feeling that the energy to do more and be more might come from some of the easier wins I can learn here with regard to supplementation and dietary habits. Just looking for new ways to pull the motor string on the lawn mower that is my body. 😂 Would love to get myself to actually stick to a weights regimen. Also have one of the celiac genes & notice that cutting out added sugar from my diet did wonders for me 8 years ago. Curious what else is out there. Also hoping to start a family in the next couple of years if everything goes as I want it to, so having a baby that is healthy with zero problems and complications is another strong motivator to be the best I can be to myself.

Hi @Michelle Inez ! Thank you so much for sharing your story and your motivators! I have found myself going through phases of being all in on my health and being very relaxed and unmotivated to care for my health. The up and down was part of the journey for me. I've found, since embodying Systema's mindset principles, these ups and downs have evened out and I've approached a place of balance in my health journey. I think you'll find the mindset lesson in module 2 incredibly helpful! I certainly did. And remembering your "why" will be helpful on the days where it feels just a little more difficut. Looking forward to hearing your wins so we can cheer you on and keep you motivated!

@Michelle Inez Wow! What a diverse and varied diet! That lamb steak sounds super tasty. I think you'll really enjoy #→ Lesson 2.4.1: Immediate Dietary Interventions in the classroom. We'd love to see more of those fabulous food pictures here too!
Mindset/diet thoughts
Just reflecting after watching module 2.2-2.4, listening to the mindset module made me feel very inspired to embrace my health journey every single day! The hard days I've had with my condition really have taught me the most. I've learned so much about my triggers and what my body truly needs...I'm truly grateful for that SUPERPOWER. I've had some times of remission where I "explore" a tad bit too much with my diet and lifestyle, which causes flares. I'm now able to recognize the symptoms, listen to my body and apply practices to get me back on track feeling and looking healthy! I'm learning so much everyday, how is everyone else feeling about the content so far? 🤗

I'm so glad you're enjoying the curriculum @Taylor Kelly. It's awesome when we can transform something like a chronic health condition into something that's empowering and motivating.
