✨ Sunday Shift & Easter Egg Hunt Gift HERE + Nervous System - Week 4 🐣
Hey, happy Sunday Shift and Easter Weekend. 🌟 1) You can't give from an empty cup. We've all heard the advice — put the oxygen mask on yourself before you help others. 🌟 2) We underestimate how slow, small, incremental change can have an impact over the year. That's the whole 1% concept — and that's my inspiration for the Sunday Shift. I've found a workflow that has really reduced the friction of my reflection, and I want to give you a little Easter egg hunt to find it. I've just created a public version exclusive to all members of Shift Society. Check out the classroom and comment below if you find the Easter egg. My hint: the goal is to massively reduce the friction in posting a Sunday Shift. ✨ TWO OPTIONS: Choose YOUR Adventure ──────────────────────────── ✅ OPTION 1: Self-Led Vision Review your goal from last week. Set a new intention for the coming week. ──────────────────────────── The timing doesn't actually matter. What matters is that you reflect once a week — review your goal from the previous week and set a new intention for the coming week. We use the Good, Better, Best framework to break out of all-or-nothing thinking and already plan for a hard week, because those weeks will absolutely happen. Don't overthink it. If you're new and commenting below the post feels easiest, do that. If you keep showing up every week, this whole process will naturally improve over time. 🔎 Not sure what to focus on? Just post one word below. ──────────────────────────── ✅ OPTION 2: Nervous System Regulation Challenge — Week 4 This week: Mindfulness. ──────────────────────────── I'm realizing this is week four of our group nervous system regulation, so I'll keep this one light. At the core of mindfulness is training our brain to be present — in the moment — not stuck in yesterday or worrying about tomorrow. On this beautiful Easter weekend, I want you to explore simply listening and really absorbing the five senses: • What are you smelling? • What are you hearing?

Found it! Yay! The friction of not only completing the Sunday shift exercise but making a video/post about it is part of what makes it so hard to engage with.

My biggest joy this week: knowing it's the end of term and I actually have room to breathe again. But the highlight of my week was on Monday when my mum had my little one so I could have a mum date with my oldest child to celebrate the end of school term. It was so good to chat with her about what's important in her world and to tell her what I've noticed and am proud of.

Hey, I just wanted to share a quick reflection. When I was having lunch today, I realized that today was a clinic day for me, back to back visits. In the past on clinic days, I would often not have time to eat my lunch. I know, and then I started to put it in my schedule. Guess what? That way, I 100% of the time eat my lunch. The reason I want to bring this up is I think sometimes we over-index, you know, willpower or identity or what this means about us when really it's just a systems issue. Sometimes a correction can change the outcome nearly a 100% difference. So, if something's hard for you, just get curious and think of it as many experiments. Try different things. So here's to me eating lunch consistently for years after missing lunch consistently for years. Share yours below 👇

It's easy to skip things when we're over-scheduled. It's great that you noticed and made a change for the positive.
What is your non body size reason for moving your body?
On a family time week! And my 3yo little guy graduated from the bunny hill today and big girl (she's just turned 7) rockin' her blues. But I was thinking today as I was carrying my toddler wearing ski boots while walking in my ski boots and with all the awkward things. This is why I work out. So I can carry the awkward sh$* and have "des grandes aventures" (great big adventures) as my son calls them 💜 Share your NON body size reason for moving that body. I've quiet this week and so many new members! A personal hello is coming when I'm next on my desktop. 👇

I was just writing in my gratitude journal about this yesterday. I too love to play and go on adventures with my kids. Swing them around, throw my little one in the air, carry them on my back. My body has to keep up with my kids and moving feels good.

@Mélanie DesChâtelets hahaha absolutely!!
🙃 Irony... Energy Low during Energy Code week
2 things can be true at the same time 🤍 I'm gonna keep it real. I've been having a low energy week. Like… the last couple of weeks. Grieving, celebration of life last week, lot's of emotional processing flowing into sick house (mild thankfully)...But ya know enough so that youngest sleeping is worse then baseline. Got hit with the same virus everyone else has, headache, runny nose. And somewhere in there I caught myself like… feeling weird hosting Energy Code week on a week were my energy was feeling MIA. Made it mean things it didn't really mean. Now already my immune system is winning and things are lifting and I'm laughing. Because of course.... Seems obvious... we are humans we are going to have lower weeks and that doesn't mean we aren't congruent most of the time. But when fatigue hits "best friend mode" is often a little harder to find ;) The irony isn't lost on me but I'm going to keep it real. Because I know Energy Code is the stuff that makes energy better ... but that doesn't mean you'll never have hard or low weeks. And that's ok too :) Anyone else in their ebb right now? 🤍

Definitely more ebb this week, although the weekend is ok the up. Things have been busy and stressful. My kids have also been a bit sick so that adds a layer. Thanks for showing up regardless!
