Found this article and wanted to share with the group... Everyone loves motivation. It feels good. It’s exciting. It gets you fired up. But here’s the truth: Motivation doesn’t build a portfolio. Consistency does. Motivation comes and goes. Consistency shows up every day. Motivation is emotional. Consistency is operational. Consistency is the first system. Because when you do the boring stuff every single day —the underwriting, the follow‑up, the property walks, the investor calls, the turn decisions —you build momentum that compounds. Motivation might get you started. But consistency is what gets you paid. I've known commercial real estate was an option for a while now. Just kept thinking I was not ready for it and that it was for the more experienced investors. Until this past Fall when I decided I was playing too small.
