Motivation vs Consistency
Found this article and wanted to share with the group...
Everyone loves motivation.
It feels good. It’s exciting. It gets you fired up.
But here’s the truth:
Motivation doesn’t build a portfolio. Consistency does.
Motivation comes and goes. Consistency shows up every day. Motivation is emotional. Consistency is operational.
Consistency is the first system.
Because when you do the boring stuff every single day —the underwriting, the follow‑up, the property walks, the investor calls, the turn decisions
—you build momentum that compounds.
Motivation might get you started. But consistency is what gets you paid.
So as you head into the back half of the week, ask yourself:
What would your life look like if you only did the boring stuff every single day?
