Free Live Workshop: Why You Keep Going Back
If you’ve ever understood your patterns perfectly… and still found yourself going back to something that hurts, this is for you. I’m hosting a free, therapist-led live workshop on February 28 at 4 PM EST focused on the nervous system side of repeating relationship patterns. This is for therapy-experienced people who: - know their attachment style - can name their trauma responses - have done the inner work - and still feel pulled toward what’s familiar In the workshop, I’ll walk through: • what’s actually happening in your body when you “go back” • why familiarity can feel safer than change • how to interrupt the loop without shaming yourself You’ll also receive a guided workbook during the session to help you apply it in real time. If this resonates, you can register here: 👉 https://mentalnesting.com/monthly-workshop It’s completely free. Come learn, reflect, and leave with language and tools you can actually use.

Free Live Workshop: Why You Keep Going Back
🌱 Free Community + Monthly Nervous-System Workshops
Hi everyone, I wanted to share a space I’ve been building that might be supportive for the right people here. My name is Barbara. I’m a therapist and nervous system coach, and I’m the founder of The Nest — a free Skool community for people who are therapy-aware, emotionally sensitive, and working on healing without pushing themselves harder. The Nest blends nervous system education, gentle coaching, reflection, and co-regulation. It’s low-pressure, non-performative, and designed to support the real-life moments between insight and change. One of the offerings inside the community is a free monthly workshop, open to all members. This month’s workshop: Energy, Capacity, and Guilt 📅 January 31, 2026 🕓 4:00 PM EST 📍 Hosted live inside The Nest (free to join) This workshop is for anyone who feels guilt when their energy drops, when they slow down, or when rest feels uncomfortable even when they logically know they need it. We’ll explore where that reaction comes from and how the nervous system learns to respond to changes in capacity. The workshop is gentle and structured: - Teaching + guided reflection - No pressure to share - You can listen, write, or simply be present The live workshop is free. The replay will be available for The Nest Inner Wing. If this resonates, you’re very welcome to join us here. Happy to answer questions, and glad to be here.

🌱 Free Community + Monthly Nervous-System Workshops
Hey everyone 🫶🏼 I’m Gabby Roberts
I'm a full time life & business coach, the skool mayor of North Carolina, as well as a podcast host! I help over givers/people pleasers who are tired of being the “strong one” stop abandoning themselves, stop overthinking every move, stop feeling guilty for having needs, and finally feel safe enough to be fully themselves. and not just “think positive” safe. I mean your body is calm, your boundaries are solid, and you’re not spiraling every time someone is disappointed in you 😅 If you’ve ever thought… - “why do I feel anxious even when life is good?” - “why do I shut down / over explain / people please?” - “why do I keep choosing the wrong people?” - “why does success feel stressful instead of exciting?” Yeah. You’re not broken. You’re just running old survival patterns. I teach nervous system tools, inner child healing, shadow work, and real life emotional regulation that actually fits into normal life + business. If you’re in your “I’m ready to stop betraying myself” era we’re gonna be besties 🤍 So happy to be here tell me what you’re working on right now Are you in your “healing” season, “building” season, or “both at the same time and I’m tired” season? 😂

🧠 Free Quiz: What Your Nervous System Learned About Support
I wanted to share a free resource I just finished creating that may be especially helpful if you’re someone who is building a business while also doing inner work. This is a short, reflective quiz called “What Did Your Nervous System Learn About Support?” It’s for people who: - intellectually understand support but still feel weird, tense, or avoidant when it shows up - notice they overdo things alone, minimize their needs, or hesitate to ask for help - want language for their patterns without pathologizing themselves The quiz doesn’t diagnose or score you. It simply helps you name the pattern your body defaults to around support, why it formed, how it shows up now, and what actually tends to help. I made this because so many of us are told to “delegate,” “receive,” or “ask for help” in business spaces without anyone acknowledging that support can feel unsafe on a nervous system level. If that resonates, you can take the quiz here. Totally free. No pressure. Just something gentle to help you understand yourself a little better while you’re building. If you do take it, I’d genuinely love to know what landed for you.

Borrowed Safety: A 3-Day Community Experiment
I’m hosting a small 3-day community challenge inside my free community, The Nest, and I wanted to share it here in case it resonates. The focus is safety. Not the kind that comes from over-availability, fixing, or emotional labor. But the kind that comes from honesty, capacity, and being witnessed without having to perform. The challenge is a 3-day buddy check-in practice: - Members pair up (or have multiple buddies) - Short, low-pressure daily check-ins - Reflection only. No advice. No fixing. - Clear boundaries and opt-out permission built in It’s not therapy. It’s not trauma processing. It’s practice in co-regulation and self-trust, especially for people who’ve done a lot of inner work but still feel alone between sessions. At the end of the three days, members reflect on what it felt like to hold space for others and to have that same care returned to them. That reflection piece is a big part of the integration. I created The Nest for women who are therapy-experienced, emotionally aware, and tired of feeling like they should be able to do everything alone by now. It’s a space where messy, real healing is welcome without pressure to be “on” or impressive. If this kind of gentle, community-based support feels aligned for you or someone you work with, you’re welcome to join us. You can find The Nest here This is about borrowed safety, not dependency. Practice, not perfection.
