Hey guys! Quick weekend check in cause it’s been a crazy one here. Spin yesterday was great. I have no idea where I landed on steps because I had a busy work morning then spent the afternoon running last min Mother’s Day errands and trying to get my house ready for people to come over. I have Wesley alone this weekend since Glenn works. This morning we are going to the zoo in Philly with my sister and stopping at my gram’s on the ride home — so o believe I’ll hopefully hit my steps or at least get a solid number for my rest day. I’ll try and check in tomorrow, but same deal - I’m single momming and this is tough. 🤭 Just wanted to show signs of life and celebrate 3 weeks down of my challenge and 3 to go. My abs are starting to show a TINY bit more this morning!!

My days are off since I sometimes I do mobility on Wednesdays and yesterday felt like Thursday all day 🫠 1.4miles so far today, got some work done while I did it, and 5 min lower body flexibility with Andrea. Slower, calmer start to the day - which is funny cause the rest will probably be anything but 🤣 the next two are busy with events and meetings and then people here tomorrow evening and Glenn working all weekend. Bring it on!

Mobility wednesday
Woke up very sore today so mobility exactly what was needed. Walking pad walk then stretching out full body. Feel readier for the day.

Midweek
Something tells me I should have gone for full mobility today, but I’m grateful that Up week has extra mobility and lower volume built in. The repetition of moves this week and my legs not getting the recovery they need is having me feel a little frustrated, but this is just a learning experience for me about my programming and how I can adjust the rest of May after this week. My original plan just might go out the window, depending on how it looks once I examine closer. Tomorrow is mobility then spin, Rest, Spin. Yesterday I hit over 12k steps!! Today I’m going to be realistic based on my schedule and the forecast - 10k is still going to be a push for me so I’ll just aim for that! Happy Wednesday!! What’s everyone focused on today or this week? Remember focus on ONE thing gives us direction when things feel crazy. Pick one and see what happens!!
