Today was a great Sunday! Lots of family time and lots of cooking! It was an off day for me from the gym- much needed! For my Lover reading goal- my big take away was: "It is important to keep going and stay brave and vulnerable even when we dont want to because being armored is too heavy a price to pay. I tend to armor up very quickly when feeling threatened or unsafe which only leads to more disconnection and more unsafety- so this is a good reminder for me.

Great Saturday! Spent the morning baking with me daughter - we made granola, egg bites and banana muffins. Then drove around Venice with my Hunny @Philip Folsom - I could do that all day - one of my favorite things ❤️ Then gym date and then out with daughter to Abbott Kinney. Spent some time reading this evening for my Lover goal ( which I would not have done) . My big takeaway from tonight's reading is : "Vulnerability is not wining or loosing, it is having the courage to show up when you can't control the outcome. " This kind of reframed vulnerability for me- it made a lot of sense.

Busy day today with tons of logistics and meetings. Felt good to catch up on a lot of things. Ended the day with a good leg day gym date with @Philip Folsom. I did not get my reading done though- i ned to get in the habit of getting it done early in the day. I will implement that tomorrow because I can see that if I dont it wont happen especially on the weekends.

Today was suer Lover filled day! We took our daughter @Makai Folsom to the Porsche track and got her a drive in a supercar and then had lunch at their very beautiful Porsche themed restaurant. Super fun family date that also checked a lot of Sovering goals for her- she used it to create social media content. I am now catching up on work stuff and then we are off to a neighborhood council meeting. I did not get my movement goal in today but I did stay committed to my Lover reading goal. My takeaway for today is: We often think courage is an inherent trait that we either have or don't have but leading courageously is less about who we are and more about how we choose to behave in difficult situations. Therefore we get to choose to be brave even if don't feel brave.

Today was one of those non-stop days. It was super productive with many client meetings and lots of exciting projects in the works. Thank you @Morgan Vicki Todd and @Antonio Rillera for your expertise and energy in supporting our projects. You two are super talented and I'm so grateful for you both. Ran a great Ravenwolf call tonight on the topic of Passion. It was a vulnerable and honest call- super grateful for that too. For my Lover goal of reading daily, I wouldn't have done it today without this accountability group- but here I am at 9pm getting my reading in :). My big takeaway from tonight's reading is: "What stands in the way is the way". Not new information but it is always good to review and remind ourselves of the simple but not easy life lessons. Challenges dont block our lives, they shape it and where we feel resistance is exactly where we need to lean in more bravely.
