"Join Serena on Rue. Insurance or cash pay — GLP-1s may cost less than you think."And right underneath that?"Go ahead and inject yourself too."
I honestly had to pause.
This is the kind of messaging I believe should be illegal — suggesting that because a well-known athlete is using weight loss injections, you should too. It’s subtle, but powerful marketing... and incredibly misleading.
Most women I talk to aren’t struggling because they haven’t injected themselves yet.
They’re struggling because no one ever taught them how their hormones, stress, metabolism, and lifestyle interact — especially after 40.
They’re struggling because the system isn’t designed to support real healing — just quick fixes and prescriptions.
And I get it — when you're stuck, desperate, and feeling betrayed by your own body... this kind of ad hits hard.
But here’s the truth: Your body is not broken. You are not lacking a drug.
You just need a plan that works with your biology — not against it.
Curious what your thoughts are on this. Have you seen ads like this? How do they make you feel?
Let’s talk.
