If You're Stuck in Perimenopause, Read This Before You Cut More Calories
If you're in perimenopause and the scale won't budge no matter how "good" you're being... it's not a discipline problem. It's a safety problem. 🧠 Here's what I mean: your nervous system has two settings: fight-or-flight, or rest-and-digest. When cortisol is running the show (poor sleep, undereating, nonstop stress), your body hears "danger" and does exactly what it's designed to do: it holds onto fat, especially around the middle. Doesn't matter how clean you eat or how hard you work out. Biology wins. So here's your permission slip today: 🎟️ ✅ Stop cutting calories, start eating more nutrient-dense food (yes, more) ✅ Prioritize sleep like it's a supplement, because it basically is ✅ Lift something heavy; muscle is your best fat-burning ally after 40 ✅ Say no to something this week. Protecting your peace protects your progress. None of this is about trying harder. It's about finally giving your body the safety it needs to let go. One woman in our program lost 10 lbs just from fixing her sleep. No macros. No extra cardio. Just rest. 😴 So tell me, which one of these do you need to focus on this week? Drop it below 👇 I read every single comment, and I'll help you figure out your next step. You're not broken. You're adapting. Let's make it work for you instead of against you. 💛 — Dr. Cody

Why So Many Women Over 40 Feel Stuck With Their Weight
Can I share something that I wish more women understood before they spent years fighting their body? The weight gain after 40 isn't usually about a lack of willpower. And it's not because your body suddenly stopped working. As we get older, several things begin to change at the same time. Cortisol tends to rise. Insulin sensitivity tends to decline. Sleep often becomes more challenging. Stress has a bigger impact than it did in our 20s. The problem is that nobody ever teaches us how these pieces fit together. Most people are told to eat less and exercise more. But if insulin is elevated, your body has a much harder time accessing stored fat for energy. That's why so many people feel like they're working harder than ever while seeing fewer results. What I want you to remember is this: ❤️ Your body is not broken. ❤️ Your hormones are not your enemy. ❤️ There is a reason you're experiencing what you're experiencing. ❤️ Understanding what's happening is often the first step toward changing it. Whether you're currently in FAST40 or just getting started in the Fit Over 40 community, keep learning. The more you understand how stress, sleep, insulin, and hormones work together, the more empowered you'll be to make decisions that actually support your body. I'd love to hear from you: What has been the biggest challenge for you after 40, weight loss, energy, sleep, cravings, stress, or something else? Drop it below. 👇

Stress, low energy, and getting restful sleep were challenges for me. With Fast 40, I’ve learned how my body reacts and what I need to do to alleviate stress, increase energy and get restful sleep.
Siete brand makes sourdough style tortillas… game change
OK many of you know, I love the siete brand. I just found sourdough style tortillas and highly recommend you guys testing and see if your body likes it. This company tends to use minimal ingredients and a lot of their products do not have sugar.
