Monday Reminder: Small Adjustments Create Big Results
Happy Monday, everyone. I hope you had a great weekend. This is your reminder to put yourself first this week. Your health deserves a place on your schedule. Remember, your body is always giving you feedback. If your weight was up a little this morning, don’t panic. That doesn’t mean you gained fat. It may simply mean your body needs a small adjustment. Sometimes the solution is: ✅ Drinking a little more water ✅ Drinking a little less water ✅ Eating a bit more food ✅ Tightening up meal timing ✅ Getting better sleep ✅ Reducing stress This process is about learning how your body responds and making small adjustments along the way. How did your weekend go? Drop a comment below: • What went well • What you struggled with • Any questions you have We’re here to help.

Reducing stress is always something I’m working on. Especially this weekend! It’s easy to put ourselves last - great reminder that I can’t take care/help others if I don’t take care of myself.
Your Body Rebuilds Your Entire Skeleton Every 10 Years… But Most People Are Slowing It Down Without Realizing It
Here’s something your doctor probably never told you, Every 10 years, you have a brand new skeleton. Your bones are not the static, fixed structures most people think they are. Right now, tiny specialized cells called osteoclasts are breaking down old bone tissue, while osteoblasts are building brand new bone to replace it. By the end of each year alone, about 10% of your entire skeleton has already been rebuilt. This process, called bone remodeling, is happening right now. Without a single conscious thought from you. But here’s what nobody tells you, your daily habits are either SPEEDING UP or SLOWING DOWN that rebuild. 🌙 Sleep This is when your body does its deepest repair work. Growth hormone, which drives bone building, is released primarily during deep sleep. Poor sleep = less growth hormone = slower bone renewal. Your skeleton is literally being built while you rest. 🍽️ Eating on Time Skipping meals or eating erratically spikes cortisol, your stress hormone. High cortisol tells your body to break down bone FASTER than it can rebuild it. Consistent, nourishing meals keep your hormones balanced and your osteoblasts (bone builders) working efficiently. 😮‍💨 Managing Stress Chronic stress floods your body with cortisol. Over time, this tips the scale, more bone is being torn down than built back up. That’s not aging. That’s an environmental problem. Reduce the stress, and you restore the balance. The bottom line? When you sleep well, eat consistently, and manage your stress, you are literally giving your body the conditions it needs to rebuild your skeleton on schedule. When you don’t? That 10-year rebuild gets delayed, weakened, and incomplete. That’s not your age working against you. That’s your lifestyle. Your body has everything it needs. 💪 We just have to stop getting in the way. Pass this on to someone who needs to hear it today.

So true! I never thought about it from an age vs lifestyle perspective - age may change us, but lifestyle often determines how well we adapt and thrive.

Mustard
Has anyone found a mustard other than yellow that doesn’t have sugar in it. Was going to buy a stone ground mustard but they all had wine in them

Week 3 results (overall: 11.6 lbs, week: 2.2 lbs
Hi all, Week 3 accountability check, I’m down 2.2 lbs this week and 11.6 overall. I had a bit of a stressful week this week but overall it was a good week. My clothes are starting to fit looser and mental clarity is higher. I’m grateful for this community and this program. I feel like I’ve got my routine back on track and getting control back to my life. The confidence I’ve gotten by following my routine and committing to myself has helped me gain my accountability and confidence to keep other commitments to myself and others. Thank you Skool Group.
