Here's my tool/field watch for Tuesday. It's a Vostok made by the Chistol Watch factory in Vostok, Russia. Purchased prior to the war. Komandirskie Red Star Hexogon model 816744 Mechanical powered by the Vostok 2414A, 17 jewel movement, anti-shock balance, screw down crown with a 36-hour reserve. Rated for 20m/2atm water resistance. 40mm brass titanium coated case, 12mm thick, bi-directional bezel, date window and an acrylic crystal. Stainless steel back and came with a Zulu nylon strap. It is available on Amazon, 4–6-week delivery time. Very rugged and durable. at less than 100 dollars. Other than having to remember to wind daily, the only other issue was I had to remove the bezel and rework the springs as the bezel didn't move very easily. As a bang around watch I'm happy with it.
