How Dial Textures Turn a Simple Watch Into Wrist Art
A man’s watch says more than the time. It says something about taste, strength, and attention to detail. One of the easiest ways to spot a well-made piece? Look at the dial texture. - Sunburst dials catch the light like steel under the sun - dynamic, bold, and never boring. - Guilloché patterns show precision and heritage - the kind of craftsmanship you don’t see in mass-produced pieces. - Matte or sandblasted dials give off a rugged, no-nonsense vibe - built for men who want utility over flash - - And textures like waffle, linen, or tapisserie add structure, turning a flat surface into something muscular and defined. Dial textures aren’t just decoration. They separate an everyday watch from one that turns heads - making it less of an accessory, and more of a statement. 👉 What’s the most interesting dial texture in your collection - and can you share a photo of it?

Today marks the 3rd anniversary of diagnosis. This week marks 2nd anniversary of completing my treatments. I bought this Dufa when I began my chemo treatments Jan. 23, 2023 as a reminder to myself that it's only a matter of time before you're done with your treatments. Had a great day today. Presented to 15 independent financial advisors on the subject of succession planning and business continuity.

I guess it is a SOTC post after the WIR refit
So after the WIR refit I now have all the watches and watch boxes together. @James Milson will be happy to see Big Red back in the Rotation Box of 12. The 6 box is where I hope to one day have the 6 watches to live with. It is why the Nectere is in there as it is a dress watch that wont be a main wearer. The box behind the 6 watch box has 2 pocket watches and my bracelets in front of the old winder that no longer work. All in all, 20 watches (For Now) and 2 pocket watches.
