30 Day Challenge #13 - Heuer AUTAVIA "Orange Boy"

Today's watch is my Heirloom Dive watch.

This was my father's watch. He was a big scuba diver back in the 70's & 80's. He did a lot of underwater photography and was published a few times in the "explorer magazine".

I ALWAYS remember my father wearing this watch on every dive vacation even the few times we got to dive together.

After my father passed this was in non working condition and was just laying with his other watches. I was lucky enough to take possession, but needed it to be put back in working condition. I sent it out to Tag Heuer and it only took 18months, but now it is in great working condition (just not waterproof).

You can see by the condition that this watch lived a life!!

I can't wear this watch without thinking of my father and some of my early family vacations.
