Complete protein
When we talk about complete proteins, we're talking about whether these protein sources contain all nine essential amino acids needed to grow and build muscle.
The thing is, you've likely been lied to your entire life. You do not need to worry about complete proteins as a vegan, unless you eat beans and only beans for 24 hours straight.
You don't need to worry about pairing certain proteins for each meal. Not only is this mentally daunting, it’s also just another trick to make vegans think they are at a disadvantage.
You're going to get what you need through a varied source of proteins in your diet.
Let me tell you this: myself, every client I've taken to stage, literally every client I've ever worked with, we've never tracked their complete grams of protein.
We've never done a deep-dive analysis of amino acids.
When you eat a varied diet (and this includes soy-free athletes as well) you don't have to worry about where you get your protein.
