How to build Legacy
Yesterday evening Juls and I were privileged to attend a B&S end of year celebration. ...And it was nothing like any corporate event/dinner I have ever attended. No seating plan. No hierarchy. No 'formal' speeches. ...just fun, friendly, inspirational shares From the cleaner to the founders. Everyone equal. Everyone valued. It was not a business dinner. It was a family dinner... a frienship dinner And suddenly it became crystal clear why this business has gone from one pharmacy to over £500m. ...And why I have zero doubt we will hit/surpass £1bn within 3 years. This business does not talk about values. It lives them. If I had to sum up what I saw, felt and experienced in 5 words, it would be 5 Ps. - People - Passion - Pride - Principles - Processes People first. Not on posters. In behaviour. You could feel it in the room. The ease. The respect. The shared purpose. No airs or graces. No power plays. Just people who matter 'knowing' they matter. Passion that shines through generations. Multiple generations working together. And a genuine commitment to employ future generations of their people too. This is not telling people they are important. This is showing them. Pride in every role. Every customer. Every transaction. Principles that are lived, not laminated. For everyone. At every level. And processes that think beyond today. Not How do we fix this fire? But How do we build a system so it never happens again? Always asking Who is best in the world? What are they doing better? How is the world changing? And how must we change to stay ahead? Samit & Alpa are extraordinary people. Their Children are shining examples continuing that legacy Kish a shining example of that next generation Giving back at scale. Building free schools for hundreds. Growing people as the business grows. Founded on values that are embodied every single day. I do not often call out individual companies on this platform. But this is an outstanding example of how to build something special.

One Year, One plan complete for 2026.
Really enjoyed the Coffee call this morning with @Mike Greene and a few of the hardcore Saturday group (*which led to another idea for the new business - thanks for the space to be creative). The follow-up Zoom call on the One Day, One Plan workshop, which I thoroughly enjoyed last week, sitting amongst like-minded individuals, who have become business associates and colleagues. Through the chat in the Growth Syndicate, I was chatting with Godfrey just now, and believe it or not, he is away for his Birthday weekend with his Wife, yet still took the time to dial in for our calls. That shows the power, and honestly, the business owners who are prepared to do what it takes, and that is why I dial in when I can and maximise every time I can. Well done @Godfrey Muneri. You rock, man! Today, I finished the plan for 2026, and I feel so much more in control, with clear measures, and it also gave me further inspiration and ideas. Thanks Mike for the push, and now can't wait to see the results in 2026! Just enjoying a 0% Guiness to celebrate......

Sorry I’ve not been In lessons @Mike Greene I’ve been out working it grafting it.. not sure if they call it manifestation.. I got rained of the other day so instead of going home I went leafleting through some posh doors. I got a call from one of. (1 in 30) We’ve had a meeting I sent an email and looks like we’ve bagged a new client. He’s had his previous gardeners for 7 years. What I do need to learn is how to conract him in, Going to grow bigger for next year 🤞

Hey Growth Syndicate - What a massive week, in terms of learnings and growth as a business owner! I thought I would share that for the past six months full of taking action, brought us to this very week, and with a 4am finish on Monday morning, we were ready for launch week on My Family Heritage Vault, the box capturing family heritage I have built, and now promoting in December. There were some real trials and tribulations in terms of launching the site, getting the Content Marketing Plan up and running, but we are all systems go and live! I can take a deep breath and now focus on delivering great marketing content, and the delivery systems kicking into action. Thanks @Mike Greene, and a few of the hard core Wednesday and Saturday club members, who have inspired me to be better and then the best in what you do. Was it all plain sailing? Hell no! Would I change anything? No. As I have learnt and grown through the process. This is massive win Number 1, rounding off 2025, and in January 2026, I hope to launch a coaching programme as well, and over Christmas, I have tasked myself to write the damn book, "There is light at the end of the tunnel". No stopping me now Mike, thanks again and "every day above ground", eh mate!

The power of the Growth Syndicate shone through last night, when I was asked (*and honoured) to speak at Debbie and Jeff's Property event. I was given one of the best welcomes I have EVER had. @Debbie Dorans treats everyone as family and that was abundantly clear with an amazing mix of property investors and entrepreneurs, and the focus really was on helping business owners. Talking of help. when I finished my presentation, sharing my story, donations to Magpas Air Ambulance totalled over £1,500! This amazing sum has meant I have reached my target of £10,000, and it was lovely that Natalie won the tour of the Magpas Air Ambulance HQ. As I left, saying thank you particularly to those who donated, this has made a massive impact on my target, and I am SO grateful. Jeff even pulled together a goody bag to take home, and also thanks to Chris on the videoing, plus sorting the laptop for the presentation, helping with the music and yes, Debbie was dancing!"Thank you Debbie, Jeff and @Mike Greene as this opportunity made my year!
