I have done some mid year reflection lately. Although I am still long way to achieve what I wanted/set out to achieve since November last year, I think I am making progress..... In the last 6 months, I have completed the first buy to let as i wanted to build a BTL portfolio as part of my pension - working on the next one. Silvra Solutions (rates business) up and running. Recently landed with an instruction with Hakkasan (first BCW premium national well-known-named client) - working on getting more of those. Won a new property management contract in Milton Keynes (small but still a new income). Finally feel confident with my team!! Most importantly, successfully took my parents to 2 holidays in the last 6 months and they loved it!! So......I am thinking I am doing ok and heading the right direction, right?!?

Been reading Mike’s book this week, and wanted to share just a learning out of Chapter three aptly named “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear” A few may know my story , clawing my way back from some of the greatest life challenges I have ever faced. I stopped in my tracks when I read “ A man who stands on a mountain, waiting for a crispy duck to fly in, has a long wait” I thought about this, and then when I discussed it with Mike he mentioned there was more to it…. You see a duck has to be caught, killed, prepared and cooked before enjoyment, Mike expanded on. His point was it is much in the preparation, to get to the cooking, before it can be eat. From this I gathered, things take time in business, you can’t simply microwave everything (raw analogy!) in other words go warp speed and then enjoy the result. If you nurture, develop, refine and improve along the way - the result will be far better! Thanks Mike and the Growth Syndicate regulars that jump on the calls and add to the conversation week in week out. If your not making the most of these calls, you truly are missing out on “gold” each week. Anyways back to my reading time! Have a great week, everyone. 🙏

I was on the call with Mike this morning and he asked me how my week went. I mentioned that I was considering giving up one of my big reasons was my success or lack of on social media and I’m not a big social media person (for creating content anyway). Mike gave me some great advice as always. Then only a few hours later something completely unrelated happened to me. I left my local bakery as I normally do on a Saturday and as I was coming back to the car I had 2 boxes of goodies I put one on the roof of the car and as I was holding the other and going for my keys the box on the roof fell into my arms. As I was struggling to hold everything I noticed a man walk pass me watched what happened and just walked on. I was in complete and utter disbelief as if I was that person walking pass I would have helped no second thought. It sounds a little silly but it gave me a whole new idea/plan for creating content which I am now going to implement and start using for creating content for my business. We also spoke about this either on Wednesday or last Saturday where your destiny is already planned and when you go off track, the universe (I see it as the universe) attempts to redirect you with signs or “coincidences” and I believe that this what happened to me today was mine Just wanted to thank you Mike for all of your help and advice I’m only on my 3rd week in your group and it’s worth every penny, it is priceless 👍

Thank you very much @Mike Greene for your help. I finally got a response from Google regarding my business profile that has been suspended for over a year. I had written so many emails with not solution or even a response to try and rectify this. Took your advice yesterday at the Growth Syndicate meeting yesterday and wrote to the CEO straight away and yes I got an email this afternoon from the Google business support team saying they have been instructed to help me 🎉🎉 Hooray 🕺🏼🕺🏼 the is the best email I have recieved in a long time . Great Saturday cafe call this morning (as always) with Mike and the Growth Syndicate guys! You really can’t come away without feeling more driven, more focused, more motivated and inspired to push on with your business! Cambs B2B was another “energy zap” seeing both Neville and Mike on stage and catching up with our members, sorry I did not get more time to chat whilst networking! I have nothing but both admiration and respect for both.Neville and Mike, not only to build their businesses to such a level, but also to carry on inspiring us all when clearly they both don’t need to work, but when you have a passion….
