And no… it’s not about flags, politics, or division:
It’s about identity.
It’s about pride.
It’s about knowing where you come from.
Somewhere along the line…
People started confusing love of country
With hatred of others
That’s not the same thing.
Not even close.
Being proud of your country…
→ The values it stands for
→ The culture it’s built on
→ The history that shaped it
That’s not racism.
That’s respect.
St George wasn’t English by birth.
But he became a symbol of something bigger.
- Courage.
- Conviction.
- Standing up for what’s right.
The legend of the dragon isn’t about monsters…
It’s about facing fear.
Standing your ground.
Doing the hard thing when it matters.
That’s what today represents.
Not shouting louder than anyone else.
But standing firm in who you are.
There’s nothing more powerful than someone who:
→ Knows their roots
→ Respects their culture
→ And still embraces the world around them
You don’t have to tear others down
To stand tall yourself
Be proud of your country
Or the country you’ve chosen to call home
Because identity isn’t something to apologise for
It’s something to live up to
Happy St George’s Day 🇬🇧
