Since the last cleanse/flush -kidney, I have been trying to eat a bit more. I have lost a massive amount of weight.
Anyway, as the weather is changing here in the Soithern Hemisphere, it's getting colder. While I love my raw diet, when it's cold, I want warm. As a result, I've been eating steamed potatoes or sweet potato and rice, the result - insulin spikes, to the point that I can barely see and my digestion has stalled. Needed to take aloe tablets to get things moving. I was also eating lunch and then dinner with a bit of a snack in between. This is not working for my body. It enjoys the lighter load - raw.
Is the wanting warm when it's cold a programme or is it my body asking. What do you all think? Who has experience with this.
I thought it was my blood sugar, but it's pretty consistent at around 5. My blood pressure is slightly higher, but that can be the insulin spiking.
