Ancient Wisdom and Modern Research...
The mind and body really can transform at a deep level…ancient wisdom and modern research both show this…it’s not hypothetical. Modern research shows that attention reshapes the nervous system, alters autonomic tone, and improves interoception — our ability to sense and regulate internal state. Research also shows fascia is a living, sensory, body-wide network — richly innervated, responsive to slow sustained input, and deeply linked to regulation. That part is now well established. What research hasn’t fully caught up with yet — but developed practitioners from various ancient wisdom traditions have known through direct experience for centuries — is that long-term training of release and internal listening doesn’t just calm the system… it reorganizes the mind, energy and body entirely. Anyone who’s trained properly for years knows this isn’t philosophical. The body begins to operate less like a system of levers and pulleys driven by isolated contraction, and more like an elastic, hydraulic, internally supported whole. Posture changes. Quality of mind changes. Stress response changes. Force transmission changes. Excessive effort drops, without collapsing your system. This isn’t wishful thinking. It’s an embodied truth to those who’ve walked the path. Dissolve Therapy works directly with the prerequisite mechanisms and qualities underlying these same principles, and we aim to make them accessible to modern life. Instead of needing years of formal, intensive training, we train the internal release process with precision, insight, clarity and ENJOYMENT. It will always be a journey to deeply transform the body, but the results can much quicker when we the path is clear... Attention soaks inward like a sponge. The fascia elasticates through sustained release rather than force. The nervous system learns safety inside pressure, not away from it. Over time, the body becomes more self-supported — upright, spacious, adaptable. Meditation stops being something you “do” and starts happening naturally when you sit and listen inwards.

Ancient Wisdom and Modern Research...
Good Morning!
The Dissolve Live is starting soon! It won't be a huge group, anyone who joins in will be sure to enjoy, it's going to be a good time! :) What you will need! (Very little!) We will do some body opening, so have comfortable clothing and a little bit of room to sit/stand/move. A good pillow to sit on if you are able to sit on the floor is helpful, or a chair you can sit with your thigh bones parallel to the floor is great if you prefer a chair! Some tea or water to sip on, and YOU. Come with a beginners mind, empty your cup. I will use words you might have heard before, but I might use them in a different way, or I may show you ways to avoid getting stuck or hitting a glass ceiling in your practice. I will use language to clarify the mechanisms behind what really works, and we might soend some time dispelling common myths and modern, potentially harmful practices. See you in class!

What Makes Dissolve Therapy Different...
Today I want to talk about something I think a lot of people quietly feel but don’t always know how to name — why so many modern healing or spiritual practices end up overstimulating the system… and why Dissolve Therapy works in such a different way. I’m not here to talk down on anyone or any method. I’ve just worked with a lot of people who’ve been pushed too hard by breathwork, psychedelics, kundalini practices, intention-heavy qigong, even certain somatic or trauma-release approaches… and their bodies end up more anxious, more reactive, and less stable than before. Dissolve Therapy is built to do the opposite.So I want to break down what makes this work different in a simple, grounded way. 1. Dissolve Therapy works through direct recognition, not control Most healing systems teach you to do something — control your breath, adjust your posture, regulate your emotions, move your energy, visualize something, or push for some kind of peak experience. With Dissolve Therapy, we don’t do any of that. We’re learning to see the habitual contraction that sits underneath our stress and our reactions. It’s not just “tension.” It’s the subtle tightening in the body, the mind, and even in awareness itself. It’s so normal to us that we don’t notice it. We just live from it. And when you actually recognize that contraction directly… it lets go on its own. You don’t force it. You don’t stretch it. You don’t breathe it out. You don’t imagine anything. This is why the work feels so safe and so stabilizing — nothing gets pushed. 2. The body reorganizes naturally, without manipulation A lot of methods rely on intensity or effort.Dissolve Therapy is the opposite. When that contraction dissolves, the body starts to reorganize itself from the inside out. Fascia begins to open and hydrate, the breath deepens on its own, posture softens, and the nervous system settles. There’s no stretching, no pumping, no intentional qi movement.You’re not trying to “fix” anything — the body knows how to unwind when it’s not being held.
