Hey
I have been suffering from lots of ailments for many years, many attempts to go raw that didn’t go well, etc.
One thing I noticed is that every time I choose to give up salt and attempt to apply a raw diet, I crave vegetables badly, specifically celery and tomatoes.
I can eat 3kg of celery a day as well as 2-3 kg of tomatoes. I crave it more than fruits. (That being said, this amount of celery makes me really gassy and have a negative impact on my body odor).
Has anyone experienced such strong cravings, and if so, did they go away?
I always end up giving up and going back to salt and cooked food cause it just feels like unreasonable amounts.
Now, I could possibly push through and sayisfy my cravings if I knew this was gonna last 1-4 weeks for example and then subside, but if these are the amounts I’m gonna have to eat every day, as well as suffer the consequences of eating this excessive amount of celery, in order to meet my electrolyte needs…
Then I find it extremely unsustainable in every possible way - financially, practically and physically.
Would appreciate any advice or insight on the topic.
Thanks!
