Listen to your body - the aftermath of Jungle raving
My intention at the last new moon was more fun, more joy after a few years of heavy healing work, retraining, working towards big goals and moving through some big life transition's.
And so last week I went out to a day rave and danced to Jungle music for 7 hours. It was amazing freedom of spirit. It felt tribal in its joy and release.
On Friday night I went out with a friend for a late night club event, not something i usually do prefering day time events so i can stick to my sleep schedule, but this one was a one off. Again i danced for around 3 hours and had a great time meeting people and connecting to the music.
My body has been aching from the hard core bass movement, dancing with a handbag strapped to me, bouncing to big beats. Last week I got a massage, which helped a bit. But this weekend my body has been screaming at me I NEED yoga.
I listened and I found this short back & hip release practice. Its done wonders in a short amount of time. Yoga is always a good idea. I never regret listening to my body and doing yoga.
If you're feeling heavy, achy or in knots try this one.
