What Would You like To See In The Society
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, As we continue to strive for the betterment and improvement of this society, we want to encourage all of the members to be active and to help build this society. We understand that some came from the previous site and some were present when the Gentleman’s Lounge became The Society Of Ordinary Gentlemen, the purpose of the change was to help build and promote not just a community but a society and and a lifestyle of ladies and gentlemen. There is no set formula to achieve this but there are standards and values that have been present. But we also would like to hear from the members of what you would like to see and topics that you would like to explore and discuss. We would like hear good and positive feedback, we are not looking to hear finger pointing or blaming, or how things use to be. Yes things have changed for the better not to say that things were bad in the past but to better in the ways of improvement. One of the key points we are looking to is host more Society Lounges, and also when a board member is online to open up a live feed, where members can come into the lounge to visit, ask questions , offer suggestions, or just get to know members. So please take a few minutes and give us your thoughts, and what you would like to see. We cannot guarantee that all an ideas will be used, or placed into practice right away. But we will take all of them into consideration. Thank you im advance.
Ties
I inherited grandfathers and fathers little collection of ties. Any suggestion for the gentleman from those photos ? (1st - friends birthday, 2nd - workplace Outfit, 3rd - something more casual, aka experiment with 60s).

I'm Back! Had Difficulties.
Over the past 24 hours or so several members inquired about my absence. I appreciate that. I had no opportunity until now to respond and thought this to be the efficient way. Sometime before midnight Sunday evening I must have lost consciousness. When I came to I could see it was slightly past sunrise. I was on the floor, half living room and half dining room. My legs didn't work. I tried propelling myself to the bathroom with my hands but the metal in my neck would not allow it. I meditated and later dozed off. Monday late afternoon I was able to roll twice and shook the coffee table to reach my phone. I figured while I was stuck I could check new Posts and Comments. Then UTube. In the process, my vision became very bad and my fingers were trembling. I knew this to be the prodromal phase of a migraine. For the next 10 or 12 hours I didn't care I was stuck. I had not been drinking. Had none in the house. No medications, including no over the counter stuff. No drugs of any kind. An hour ago I completed a wonderful shower. I'm now taking various natural home remedies to build up again. I'm sorry for any inconvenience or undue concerns. Thank you.
Who Would you Pick?
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, I am sure that in your pursuit to becoming ladies and gentlemen whether it was growing up or even now there might have been or be someone that you look up to or seen that inspires you be become the person that you are striving for, that not only you are encouraged by but also help you decide to live this lifestyle and maybe influenced you to become a member of this society.. this might be a movie actor, a political leaser, a family member, or just someone that you met. I think this would be a great opportunity to shar who this person is or might be. Or better yet, who is the one person in history or even now that you would invite to join the Society of Ordinary Gentleman and why you think they would be an excellent choice and what you think thy would bring to the society? This can be a lady or a man, past or present, it can even be a fictional character and yes, you can have more than one I will give my choice: I was able to invite one person into this society, it would be Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. King spoke of civil rights for all both ladies and gentlemen of all races, he spoke of peace and not violence, he was willing to face persecution to speak against the unjust of men and women. He used diplomacy and respect in his message. Dr. King always dressed and carried himself in a manner that of a gentleman.
