Valentine's Day - What a stupid holiday!!
Before I'm crucified for this, let me explain. If you have someone you love, why limit it to celebrating only one day. In my opinion, you should celebrate the one you love everyday and not just limit it to one day a year. Thoughts?

@Stephen Arnold I’ll have to look at. Valentine up, but yes it’s all been commercialized and has taken away from true meaning so I draw issue with it

@Stephen Arnold we should rename Easter
Spending the day with my bride
Not doing this cause of vday, Saturday is a normal date day for us. Men’s breakfast at church, wife took pup with her to Dennys We went to get an oil change and new fog light bulbs installed. Then some shopping and to get her rings cleaned and checked , lunch and to get some groceries. She getting the groceries while I grab fuel and get the suv washed. Sometimes couples have to divide and conquer to get everything done efficiently!!! And yes so I ended up investing in a gorgeous blue vest to turn my blue preaching suit into a 3 piece suit. Also while getting fuel an older lady stopped me and thanked me for dressing up and that she appreciated it. Yes also got comments during lunch. Even the head guy at longhorn did a double take, some people know a BOSS when they see one lol

Entertainment Spotlight: Peaky Blinders
Okay... about to start the 5th episode, and I'm hooked. (Since this original OG S/OG post, I'm now in the 4th season... needless to say, it's been an amazing ride so far). I'd only previously seen clips from this show featured in James' GentZ videos back when we were either in the Lobby or Lounge, and then mentioned again in videos by The Masculine Home that I recently shared. So, I finally decided to watch it. Took me until the end of the first episode and into the second to really pull me in, but it gets good fast. Not bad for a show that started in 2014, and I believe finally ended in 2022. Initial take-away was all the period/setting aesthetic. Absolutely love it. If I ever get my own house again, I'd love to apply the aesthetic of Thomas' room to one of mine (particularly the wallpaper). Especially fond of the post-industrial revolution style in general and how it contrasts with posh accents of wealth and old-world bespoke craftsmanship. I was familiar with Nick Cave's music well before this, so it's a nice bonus. Has anyone else watched this? As I recall, @David Zandar mentioned having watched and much enjoyed it. So far, I highly recommend it. It's like a nice hard shot of extra peaty Scotch after the fine aged wine of "A Gentleman in Moscow". EDIT: As an update to this re-post, I'm dressing like a Shelby/Peaky Blinder for Halloween. Pics to come later this month.

@Jo Henderson that way be so but the black magic bits didn’t need to be in the movie at all, thats just an agenda being pushed like im everything else. It didn’t add to the movie so it shouldn’t have been in the movie

@Jo Henderson I have been to Canada to watch the 4th of July lazer show on the falls with my family back in 2006 for the summer. We also found a great sweet winter Ice wine from a winery we found in canada
Are we efficient or deficient??
So my question to you all is are you efficient in what you do or are you not efficient in what you do? Say your at work and your in your A game and then the company asks you to work with someone on let’s say their c or d game . Will this get to you and under your skin or will you find a way through the situation to stay efficient? When you go about your daily routines to get ready for the day, are your going at it with 100% time and energy ? Do you go through your entire day doing everything the right way the fist time and being efficient as possible so your happy with the outcome?
