Valentine's Day - What a stupid holiday!!
Before I'm crucified for this, let me explain. If you have someone you love, why limit it to celebrating only one day. In my opinion, you should celebrate the one you love everyday and not just limit it to one day a year. Thoughts?

If you don’t want to celebrate Valentines Day it is also National Ferris Wheel day.

❤️Valentine’s Day❤️ A day filled with love, romance and sweet gestures — the perfect opportunity to show affection towards those special people in your life. Love and romance. Candy and flowers. Cards and gifts. Dinner and dancing. Valentine’s Day comes along with a whole host of plans and accoutrements that are meant to all boil down to one thing: Love. And it all comes in the name of one man, St. Valentine, who was an interesting (and perhaps slightly misunderstood) character in history. It’s time to learn about and celebrate Valentine’s Day!

📻World Radio Day📻 More than just a blast from the past, radios are a window to the world with music, news, and talk shows to keep you informed and entertained. The world used to be a much bigger place, at least when you consider the difficulty involved with transmitting information from place to place. In the beginning, we simply had to walk and talk to one another, and then we were able to write and exchange letters. Ideas and music traveled the world at a snail’s pace as compared to today. But then the radio was invented, and suddenly transmitting ideas hundreds of miles became a relatively trivial matter! The world became connected, and it would never be the same. Let’s celebrate World Radio Day and show appreciation for the connectedness this technology has offered!

Blast from the Past
Back in the 90s I went to see a movie in a theater. As usual, ten minutes into the movie I walked out. Another lousy flick. Went to a library, bookstore or home. Ten years ago and, I saw the last five minutes of the same movie. Convinced I was right to walk out of the movie years ago. Last night on UTube I watched the entire movie. With delight. I strongly recommend anyone over 40 will appreciate the portentous plot and dialogue. Maybe the older you are the more you will enjoy it. Even younger people may relate. The movie is Demolition Man with Sylvester Stallone and a hilarious Sandra Bullock. I admit to enjoying the film, and it holding my interest perhaps partially due to the medical marijuana.

I was in middle school when I saw Demolition Man. It is the type of movie that appeals to a 13 year old boy.
