This is for the women in our society
In this video, I visit Kent Haste on Savile Row to explore the world of bespoke womenswear—an area of tailoring that offers far greater freedom, creativity, and individuality than traditional menswear. While men’s tailoring follows established rules, womenswear allows for more shaping, expressive design, and personalisation. From structured suits and casual pieces to eveningwear and beautifully crafted overcoats, bespoke tailoring enables garments to be designed entirely around the wearer—rather than the wearer adapting to the garment.

@Jo Henderson I spent 20 years in the Navy. You think you can school me? Please... give it up.

@Jo Henderson of the four wives and two fiancee s, one was a psychologist, one a CFO, one a nurse who taught graduate class students at a San Diego University, one a successful model with a degree in Fashion. The other two were HS graduates. A dummy would have been easier, but so would have a deaf, dumb, paraplegic!!!
The " What If" Game
One of the ways I amuse myself and keep my mind active is to think through what would or could have happened. What if we lost the Revolutionary War! Would we be speaking British, German or... What if the Confederacy won? With rebels having the North's industry, how long would slavery exist in America? What if Kennedy had not been assassinated? Would Vietnam have happened so disastrously? What if the doctor didn't drop me on my head... Happy Valentine's Day!!!

@Jo Henderson believe me, I got that memo early.
A Story From My Past
In junior and senior highschool I was creative, rebellious and adventurous. I made money by betting on My abilities, not someone else's. In the mid to late 1960s we didn't have 7-11s or any of the chain or franchise enterprises we have today. We had " News Stores" that were basically a modern day 7-11 and a CVS combined but without the pharmacy. And they carried every newspaper and magazine printed. I would bet my buddies that I could go into Nestor's, our newsstore, and steal anything. The guys would bet a quarter or up to a dollar ( good money back then) that I couldn't steal a particular item. I would accept the bets and go into the store. 15 minutes to half an hour later I would emerge from the store and walk around to the side of the building. There I would produce the items. I collected my bets and to their collective dismay would return to the store where I would return what I had stolen. I never explained myself to my buddies. But this would occur at least once a week for five years. What I didn't explain is what my dad taught me: Once you steal You are a Thief. When people learn You are a Thief, you will Never be Trusted. Back then, I couldn't imagine living anywhere beyond ten miles away. I simply didn't want the reputation of a thief. I enjoyed the challenge, the rush, the danger but I didn't sacrifice my integrity in the process. The reason I share this is because an event in my current life reminded of it. At worst please consider it the rambling of an old man with many adventures and memories. Thank you for your time.

@Jacques Therrien my mother paid to have him murdered. I think I already told that story here. Don't want to be redundant or a nuisance.

@Jacques Therrien man. I witnessed the payment.
Valentine's Day - What a stupid holiday!!
Before I'm crucified for this, let me explain. If you have someone you love, why limit it to celebrating only one day. In my opinion, you should celebrate the one you love everyday and not just limit it to one day a year. Thoughts?

@Stephen Arnold sometimes there were as many as 5 wives. My buddies trusted me and I didn't mind spending the money. My Brothers knew they were safer with me than them being alone and depressed.

@Jacques Therrien I know the feeling. Continue celebrating!!!
Apparently, not like a bicycle.
You know how they say some things are like a bicycle and you and you don't forget? Well, I guess that is not the case with a safety razor. I started using a safety razor and got used to using it with no nicks, and then I grew a beard for a couple of months. When I shaved it off I have noticed that it's almost like starting over again. These last two times I have shaved, I have nicked myself. Is this just me or has this happened to anyone else? Is this normal?

@Jeremy B The title and term "Master" , to me, is simply tradition. I absolutely agree with you.
