Caffeine clearly has an impact on my sleep and quality of sleep BUT!! When I take the time to calm my nervous system and step into a feeling of safety using the insights and wind down audio from Inner Circle, the caffeine doesn’t seem to matter!
Yesterday I drank coffee way later than my cut off knowing it would disrupt my sleep but needing to survive the drive home. I had resigned myself to a crappy night sleep & I think that resignation in itself helped me not get into fight mode. I listened to the Wind Down audio, said some safety and love affirmations and ended up sleeping really well! I woke up several times but fell back asleep without stress.
