The best undershirt I have worn is…
If you’re a man that values the benefits of an undershirt (insulation in all temps, separation from your dress shirt and skin) but hates the common problems they pose (wrinkles and droopy collar, shoes wrinkles through the shirt, or a heavy undershirt to tackle these but it’s not sufficiently soft), I am with you. I played around with Hanes and Ralph Lauren Polo for a few years, switched to New Religion (which are great but not sufficiently heavy), and the … Sene. To be clear, I am just a fan and have never received anything from them. Heck, they might not like what I’m about to say. Sene technically makes t shirts and not undershirts. I simply found them to be the perfect undershirt: super soft, super comfortable, heavy weight so it doesn’t wrinkle (I pull them out of the dryer and fold them), and their MTM process is impressive for a t shirt, including the fitter having me look at specific areas when I thought it fit well. He adjusted them further and then sent me another round which was the best fitted undershirt I have ever worn. These are expensive for an undershirt - about $100 per shirt. I ended up getting them at the Fourth of July sale for about $225 for a three pack (they pick the colors, but my pack of white, black, and navy is ideal).
