This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

It's been a fantastic week at the office. The only downside is spending more of my day on management and less on the scientific client work we do. That said, I would not change our trajectory for anything. I told my AI app to have fun with the write up today. Let's see how that goes! "Cashmere & Cream: Friday Luxe in Beige" What a week it's been! And what better way to close it out than draped in cashmere, wool, and a color palette that whispers "effortless sophistication" while shouting "I'm ready for the weekend." Today's internal meetings called for polished comfort—this John W. Nordstrom cashmere blazer answered with aplomb. • Blazer — DOJ-002 (John W. Nordstrom): A beige cashmere single-breasted blazer with brown horn buttons and a full gray/brown lining—pure Nordstrom old-school luxury. The notched lapels and dual rear vents give it a classic American silhouette, while the cashmere drape feels like wearing a cloud. The slash chest pocket and inner pockets (two chest, one business card) keep everything organized. This is a big investment piece from pre-2019 that elevates every outfit it touches. • Trousers — SL-017 (Bachrach): Heavy virgin wool herringbone slacks from Bachrach—American-made with serious presence. The hook & bar closure with button tab, slanted front pockets, and two rear button pockets give these a heritage feel that pairs perfectly with the cashmere blazer. The dark brown herringbone weave creates beautiful visual depth against the beige jacket. • Shirt — DS-013 (David Donahue): A purple gingham David Donahue dress shirt in soft cotton with mother-of-pearl buttons—my Friday Rule pick with zero wears since September 15, 2025. The semi-spread collar (5.66" spread) frames the tie beautifully. This shirt has been patiently waiting for its debut, and today it finally takes center stage against that gorgeous beige cashmere. (ACTUALLY, THIS SHIRT WILL BE RETIRED TODAY. NECK IS WAY TOO BIG AND THE ARMS ARE TOO SHORT) • Undershirt — US-008 (Pro Club): A heavy-weight tan Pro Club crew neck that disappears under the purple gingham while adding warmth for the mild 65°F spring day.

Today, I EnjoyTurning 60
I’m grateful to mark 60 today—full of joy, perspective, and a deep appreciation for how the Lord’s grace and mercy have shaped every step. He’s blessed me with salvation, a strong and loving family, good health, and more provision than I deserve—and for that, I’m thankful. I also want to tip my hat to Antonio for building RMRS and the brotherhood that’s come with it—proof that sharp dressing and solid men still go hand in hand. Now, on to the OOTD. Keeping it clean and intentional with a navy crewneck and mid-wash denim—simple, timeless, and reliable… kind of like me on a good day. After a second look, the Seiko is getting relieved of duty—Alpina panda steps in. Even watches deserve a promotion now and then. Finish it off with a few spritzes of Creed’s Green Irish Tweed—because if you’re going to turn 60, you might as well smell like you’ve had it together the whole time. Have a blessed day, brothers.

Men's bag please
I want to understand about men's bag as a fashion item. It is surely the most utility item a man can carry. But, often, due to lack of awareness, I just carry my back pack (which has very traditional looks). And I am beginning to realize that back packs are too old school and lack that oomph. Please help me here. What kind of a bag would you carry? If you already are into this, please post some pics and details.
