🍂 Toughest Fall Fabric to Style
Every fall fabric has personality - but not all are easy to pull off. Corduroy brings texture but can look dated fast. Tweed screams classic, yet too much can feel costume-like. Flannel is cozy but casual. Velvet? Sharp and bold… if you’ve got the confidence. So here’s the question:👉 Which one gives you the hardest time to style and why? Let’s trade notes and see who’s mastered the trickiest textures of fall.

2 months without a drink
Two months without alcohol — and I can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my mental health. The turning point came the morning I nearly cancelled plans to finally meet my celebrity crush at a Comic Con in London, Danielle Campbell - The Originals. I’d had a few drinks the night before (4 beers, 2 red wines, 2 Old Fashioned’s and Tequila Rose), woke up foggy, anxious, and very nearly talked myself out of going. I pushed through, had breakfast and plenty of tea — it turned out to be an amazing day. But it also opened my eyes to how much alcohol had been quietly draining me: my energy, confidence, and focus. The very next day, I signed up to BetterHelp and started working on myself properly — mentally, physically, and emotionally. Since then, the changes have been huge. My gym training’s consistent, my motivation’s back, and I’m finally building myself up again. I’m not cutting alcohol out of my life completely — I’m going to Scotland for a whisky tour in 2 weeks, which I’m super excited for, but my relationship with it has changed. These past two months have been about getting clarity back, both in my head and in my habits. It honestly feels so good to be back in control of my lifestyle again - I’ve even taken up yoga! Curious if any of you guys have gone through something similar — what changes did you notice when you cut back or quit drinking? Of course, I couldn’t post without sharing a photo from the day where I’m trying to act cool, but I’m actually more nervous than I’d ever been!

Warm clothing for fall/winter but still stylish
Hello, gents. With the cold mornings of fall and winter, I notice that just wearing a dress shirt and a blazer/suit jacket is not enough. Even if you button the blazer/suit jacket I still feel the cold attacking my chest and neck area because of the V design of the blazer/jacket. With wind it is even worse. I am thinking of adding a cashmere or wool pullover over the dress shirt and then putting on the blazer/jacket. What do you think about this? Also I am planning to buy a navy or black overcoat so I can dress it on top of a dark blazer/suit jacket. Do you have any style advice on this?
Understanding Life
Some people are in your life for a season. Some are in your life much longer. Some times we confuse those seasonal people for life time expectations. Doesn’t mean they are bad people that’s who they are. When a rocket is launched into space, at a certain point the boosters fall off and the rocket continues. See some people are only meant to be with you to a certain point, they were not meant to be with you throughout your journey. Don’t confuse those seasonal people with lifetime expectations. And don’t let those people keep your from your destiny. When Abraham in the Bible took his son Isaac up the mountain to be sacrificed, the Bible said that when they got to a certain point Abraham left the ass behind and only took his son and the wood for the offering. See asses are stubborn they will get to a point and refuse to work and will just stop. If Abraham had taken that ass any further that ass could have stop and sat down hindering them from getting to there destination where there was a Ram in the bush to sacrifice, then Abraham would have have to sacrifice his son instead. So you see some times you have to leave those asses behind or you might miss your destiny. The point is, there are some people in your life that are only there for a season, some are only there to go with you to a certain point, and some are there and can be a hindrance.
