TV and Movie style references

As we all know there are many TV shows and Movie references for classic menswear style. My wife loves to watch old episodes of "The Nanny" with Fran Drescher. If you can stand that voice, the styling of Maxwell Sheffield, and Niles the butler, along with any of the visiting British family members are always on point. Especially their casual aspects.

I had never thought to use that show as a reference until I started really looking what they were wearing. Still holds up to this day, even though the show is 30 years old. Fit, fabric, color pallete.....all on point. Although the fitment has changed a little since then, for what was the style then, it was dead on.

Im always looking for styling cues, and seemed to have skipped this one. Thought you guys might catch an episode or two, and see what I mean.
