Casual knit blazers

Ok, so I have sportcoats and suits. No issue there. But I am heading for a vacation in Paris and several places has a blazer / sportcoat requirement. Now I am not bringing anything formal. Fact is I will be packing fairly light with a suitcase for 10 days. But my wife does not like my sportcoats with jeans look as I wear texture in my sportcoats.

So I am thinking a very packable knit sportcoat for dinners. Traditionally not my thing. I lean towards more formal or rocker.

What are your thoughts on these types of things? I kind of like and dislike all at the same time lol.
