First sale! Quick question

Just got my first sale, was over the moon when the notification came through! The item that sold was my first listing and I think I listed that 3-4 weeks ago.

My only question is, I sent the order via print shrimp, so I went on etsy and completed the order, I take it that I was right in doing this? My only concern is I guess it technically isnt complete until it arrives, idk. I added on the notes that the tracking number will be added to the order as soon as I get it.

Is this what you guys do or have I done it wrong lol
