took me a while to find this resource buried in my 'useful stuff' dumping ground https://www.pixsy.com/ free plan monitors 500 images and alerts you, the paid plans help you with all the legal bits too.
Bulk Mock Up Issue
For anyone using MBU, I’m doing it correctly, but when I have generated the picture, there’s like a a layer of my design over the design for some reason? Anyone know how to stop this?

ill need to see a picture of whats happening to understand the problem, it could be several reasons.. the top 2 that spring to mind are 1 - your image isnt covering the whole area so you can see their example around the edges of yours. or 2 your image has a transparent background and so you can see their design behind yours
Pinterest
Does Pinterest operate like Amazon, Facebook, or Etsy? For example, can they suspend your account? I have four websites/niches, what name should I use for my Pinterest account? Should I use my own name? Thank you in advance!

Yup everything is in their community guidelines, but its the usual suspects spam, ip infringement etc etc
Is this AI slop?
So before I start pumping out more prints. Can you guys tell me if this is just AI slop ? Im a new shop I just need some advice wether to continue with the style I have or just change it up. I don't have any data to work on from Etsy yet so right now I'm just guessing. https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/TheIvyHaus Thank you for your advise 😀 be honest!

One thing to bear in mind people who think 'AI slop' are not the people you are trying to sell to so don't worry about it there will be someone who likes it somewhere and either doesnt see the ai or doesnt care about the ai to make the purchase, you are making art for people that just want a simple cat on a swing design.
Bill for VAT though no sales?
Hello, newbie here. I got a bill from Etsy for about 3 quid. I had only uploaded a couple of images. I find it impossible to get in contact with anyone at Etsy, just wanted to make sure that makes sense to people? i.e. Upload a poster, pay 20p. Then pay VAT before any sales?! Does that sounds right to you? TIA

You pay VAT on your fee's so your listing fee is $0.20 which is about £0.15 atm then theres £0.03 vat on that so each listing to create costs you £0.18 (lasts for 4 months if it doesnt sell)

yep that the shop set up fee, basically anything you pay to etsy as a fee has a 20% vat charge on it.
