New Title Changes
Has anyone noticed any patterns or differences with the new title changes by Etsy? Fewer sales or more sales by adhering to the new changes or have you not changed anything and noticed no difference? I haven't changed mine and like my tags, I treat the title as a keyword stuffer (always readable/understandable though) which might not be the right thing to do.

I have changed mine and my sales took a dip in October and I was in deficit, then they slowly increased back to now around 21% more than last year and 50% more in revenue. But it can be a combination of things. Hard to tell. I would say, until Etsy says that their algorithm changed and it will impact your SEO, don’t change them.

Just noticed that I went over 1000 prints with PrintShrimp today. With my first print being done on the 1st June 2025, this 6 month ride has been well rewarding and wild at times 💥. Thanks @Tom Beeston for the amazing platform and great service. Here's to the next 1000 prints!

Posters and frames
Hi guys. I don’t want people to give away their secrets 😁. Does anyone offer posters (from printshrimp) and frames from elsewhere that get despatched separately? If so does it work ok? I guess logistically it needs some organising. Thanks in advance.

@Chloe Mitchell 👀 thank you for the mention. @Martin Bibby yeah I do. I basically place my framed orders with a different supplier manually as I don't get those every day (as you see in the photo I received 1 today, yesterday I had 5, 3 days prior had none). To keep them organised, I created new tabs in the Order page on Etsy; one for PrintShrimp and one for the frames supplier. So my workflow is as follows: New - are the unprocessed orders. PrintShrimp - processed orders with PS Frames - Framed posters processed with the other supplier On hold - this is used rarely for customised orders which I extended the despatch by date.
Returns / Refunds BEWARE
I have noticed a trend going on lately that I feel I need to make you aware of, in case you weren’t. With the raise of AI, cheeky customers can alter the product images to make the look damaged. As a shop owner you need to be vigilant about this. In my 1.5 years of selling, I have dealt with a few shady customers trying to make false claims. As AI struggles to replicate text or be consistent, you can do the following: ask the customer to send multiple images of the damage from different angles or you can ask them to send a photo of the damage with the shipping label in the same frame. If you offer returns, never refund until you received the return; it is Etsy’s policy. Most will turn cold feet and never respond back. You risk a bad review but they can leave it either way if they have bad intentions. As it happened to me recently, she refused to cooperate by sending me the proof and left a 1 star review w/o context instead, just because 🤷🏻‍♂️ Build a strong customer service to have a comfortable cushion for these kind of situations. https://youtu.be/ZlGsfMYQMfU?si=zE6PMPvMRJqeLA9x
Etsy Payment
Hey guys, struggling to wrap my head around when I'm going to start seeing money I've earned on Etsy become available for deposit. Started my shop about a month ago and luckily have seen a decent amount of sales fly in over this time. However, this means I've had to put down a lot of money in to PrintShrimp in order to fulfil orders. I know there's something about Etsy profit not becoming available for 14 days, as well as a reserve for new shops, however, I can't seem to figure out when I'll actually start seeing the money available for deposit. I'm seeing multiple sales coming in everyday, but no money available for deposit, meaning I'm ploughing money in to PrintShrimp and just operating at a huge loss. Understand I essentially I just have to wait but with every sale I'm out of pocket even more until Etsy actually makes my funds available. Can anyone help clear this up a little bit more for me? Thanks!

Etsy can hold your funds for up to 180 days but this is rare. As you are saying that you are already having decent sales and you only just started a month ago, you are a victim of your own success unfortunately; as Etsy sees that but they want to make sure that you have enough fund to cover any customer issues such as refunds, or if you cannot fulfil your orders and they have to step in and use your funds to cover the costs. This is the bit that every Etsy “guru” leaves out when they sell you the dream. At the start you have to be prepared to cover the costs for at least two months or so until the funds might become available. In my case they did become available 1,5 months later, then they started trickling in every two weeks afterwards. That’s my preferred frequency. Unfortunately you just have to plough it through. December sales are not helping your case either as this is the month with most customer queries and shipping issues, and Etsy knows that. Side note: if your customer service stats are in good standing, you will qualify for star seller exactly 90 days from your first sale. With that, all your shop restrictions will be lifted and funds released, if funds will not become available until then.

@Daniel Graham from my experience on both shops, my restrictions lasted for exactly 90 days from the first sale until I reached star seller. No other restrictions afterwards.
