Pricing
I've had an order come through for a 28x40 inch poster from the US. So this costs £25 to make and send. After all costs, I'm only left with £10 profit. My US prices are £3 more than the UK prices. I'm wondering what everyone else does. Would you individually increase the price for these specific sizes or keep the general few quid above the UK price. My worry would then be that nobody would want to buy it, if I increased the price for the sake of more profit. Would love to know people's thoughts! Thanks

@Jack Heddon because in my spreadsheet I added all costs, including Etsy fees and future UK VAT which will come very soon. So that’s the pure profit after a sale. At this time we are not paying any UK VAT to PrintShrimp which is a huge perk compared to all other POD companies. But it will soon change.

@Ata Ata don’t have that info.
HMRC and Uk Tax
Hi everyone. I’ve only just started and not even set up my Etsy shop, etc (although I do feel I have a good idea.) Before I dive in should I register as a sole trader with HMRC first or should I wait to see if things take off.

You have nothing to lose by registering. But you can wait until you sell over £1000 in profits as that is your tax free personal allowance. UTR comes back pretty fast after you apply for it so I wouldn’t worry about it now. Since the new financial year already just started, you have plenty of time to figure it out.
ETSY ADS Quiery?
I am in a slight quandary as to what to do with etsy ads - feel im just unnecessarily spending money? Whats everyone elses opinion on it? Different startegies etc?

@Bart Tutaj Toms videos are slightly outdated and when he talks about ads he talks about old ads which were working great. Now, not so much
Order showing “No Tracking” — normal?
Is it normal for an order to show as “no tracking” even after adding the tracking number and correct carrier? This hasn’t happened to me before, so I’m wondering if I just need to wait for it to update or for the tracking to become active. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. Thanks!
