Alt Text on Images
Just been randomly looking through some web pages and led to this on the Etsy SEO page; Etsy sellers with English as their default language can also add descriptive alt text to their images. This is extremely helpful for SEO. Alt text, which stands for alternative text, is designed to describe images for people with visual impairment, and it can also help your page appear in Google Images. To write high-quality alt text, you’ll want to accurately describe what’s shown in the photo. You can include information about colour, texture, and material too. One word of warning: Don’t try to add random keywords into the alt text field in an attempt to improve your rankings. This is another form of keyword stuffing, and it’s unhelpful for people using screen readers to understand the images on a page. So, my question to all is, does everyone else add alt text to all of their images?? Am I missing a trick by not having them??

@Camilo Palacio The paragraph above is from the Etsy website; the phrase "This is extremely helpful for SEO." on their own website to me suggests from them that it is. I think I will try it from now on, like you with my first product mockup image and will have it on all my info images as I usually copy the last listing when creating new, if I do it just on new images I should be able to compare before & after see if it does actually benefit my listings.
Did I miss anything??
Hey all, have been busy the last few days..... decided to refresh all titles, descriptions and tags across all my listings and didn't anticipate it taking a few days to do them all well (all 160 listings!!). Wouldn't mind a little feedback from the forum if you could spare a couple of minutes..... https://www.etsy.com/shop/BetterHomeGallery Have I missed anything important in the last few days?? I have attempted to put additional amounts back on all listings for US & Elsewhere buyers (+2 & +4) but see it's still not working, is anyone able to update me on that?? TIA

@Camilo Palacio OK thanks, guess it's already done so I will keep an eye on it 👍 though the reason that I did it was because views and visits have stalled for a few weeks now, around 10 or so visits a day.
Unhappy customer
I am at a loss as to how to handle this. I sold a large framed print. My first frame sale. The review came in as 3* and the customer's comment was ........"£159 for a cheap £10 frame and a piece of paper not as described"....... So my question is, how do you handle bad reviews? has this happened to your shop? and how did you respond to the customer?

I think as long as you have a decent image, as @Samantha White says above, as well as it being in your description, you have nothing to worry about. I too have added my images to every listing for the visual aspect of it, and have attached them here to give further guidance if needed 👍
Workflow?
Just wondering how these Etsy pages with 1000s of listings, have such a productive workflow. It takes me 30 minutes for 1 listing, starting from the prompt

Starting from my original output image, it takes me around 10-15 minutes per listing, that includes creating all mockup images, 2x upscaled images, writing the listing itself and posting to Pinterest & Facebook, then adding to my print files section on the Printshrimp Portal. Then again, I worked data entry for years so once I have my process in place it's set in muscle memory where the mouse goes, which keys to press for copy & paste and most of the time I have the mouse pointer in place on the screen before the pop-up appears 😂
Midjourney output size for printable posters
Hello! I am new here, and just started playing with Midjourney to create some artwork. I'm using the 2:3 ratio for posters, but I'm wondering if the output from Midjourney has the necessary resolution for a crisp poster print. Is there a particular resolution setting to consider? Thank you! And great group!

I use https://www.imgonline.com.ua/eng/resize-image.php for resizing, it allows you to specify the pixel size & dpi for any upscaled image (among other things) 👍

@Murielle Ungricht Let me know how you find it, I think it's really easy to use 😀
