Day 11- Today let's take a deep breath. Or 2 or 3 π. I've been there where someone said just take a deep breath & just breathe and I honestly wanted to throat punch them. In reality we don't want to be told what to do. But in that moment of stress & distress I needed to be held and told to breathe.
π’Have you been there? Can you relate to that? I'm telling you to breathe. You can do it. I'm linking another breathwork technique here. Definitely start with the beginner equal breathwork technique & as you incorporate it and get better at it, then grow and challenge yourself with other techniques. You'll find what your body & mind likes and will gravitate to one in times of stress & distress.
π’Recently my body just started doing a technique subconsciously and I didn't even have to tell myself to "just breathe" and a person beside me said "Misty, you're going to have to trust me. Just keep doing your breathing technique and close your eyes if you need to, but trust me." Little did I know that person recognized I was doing my techniques to get through the situation in that moment and they know nothing about breathwork but knew that I practice it. It was automatic. And I was like in this moment I will "JUST BREATHE" & PRAY because that is all that I can control right now.
π’Now the "trust me" part is an entirely different post and subject matter, because I do have trust issues. So to be continued!
